2. i'm sure nothing in their life will change whether I , some
random person , accepted them or not .

3. I don't think they're disgusting or something . For me , the whole idea of sex is disgusting whether it's between a man or a women or two from the same sex .

man and woman have sex so a new life will be born , since the beginning of humanity , this was a rule and fact that can't be denied . loving a person from the same sex is abnormal , it's something that breaks the rule .

I believe that what's written in BL stories and reality is different , I also live in a society where the LGBT community is rejected or not liked , most likely because religion is so important in this society . I think it's wrong to hate or hurt someone for a reason like that , but at the same time I can't say that acting like they're normal people is the right thing .

    Okay, I understand the sentiment since I don't understand labels very well myself, but you do realise that the majority of people prefer labels specifically because they're trying to reclaim the words?
    If someone was offended by the term 'gay' in general then that means that they're either homophobic or they have internalized homophobia. Either way, not really much of a ground for not using the label. If they are attracted to people of their own sex and ask to not be called gay, that's fine and their wishes should be respected. But if that is what's happening, the people who we're discussing is not, in fact, those who wish to remain without a label but gay people who have reclaimed the label and use it on a regular basis.

ok . take a deep breath and let's start .

so , despite the fact the one of the best yaoi mangas that I ever read ( kiraide isasete ) being an omegaverse story , I really hate omegaverse .

yes , i've read some of yaoi mangas with omegaverse which were really good , but most of them were bad , really bad .

first of all , i like the main idea of omegaverse , about males being able to have children and family . I also like the idea of the fated pair/soulmates but everything else is a disaster .

for example , the " alphas are the clever , strong , handsome , perfect ones who're always in the top while the omegas are just some shit meant to have sex with so it's ok if they get raped " thing .

it's exactly the same when you say women are there just for the men to have sex with them and the woman's only job in the life is to please men and obey them . it's irritating right ?

just because they may seem smaller than alphas doesn't mean that they don't have any rights as humans . ( oh gosh , i'm starting to get angry )

also the " alphas are perfect " idea really really annoys me . I get it that the seme usually is this perfect guy ( which I dislike ) but being the top in everything just because you were born as an alpha ? the only thing I can say about it is that it's ridiculous and silly .

i'm sorry for the people who like omegaverse but please know that I tried so much to force myself to try understanding it , but I swear to god I couldn't .

and while we're at the point , I can't really understand why it's shown that it's hard for omegas to have a work or even get walk in the streets without getting raped . I mean , why ? just why ? does a romance story need something like that ? why do I have to see the uke living a miserable and pitiful ? to pity him ? no ? then why ?

and don't get me wrong , there were stories which actually did great in using this idea .

" Youchina Koi O Dou Shiyou " one of the few omegaverse that I liked so much used this idea perfectly when showed the uke living a very lonely life where he was always hated and being used because he's an omega , and when the seme appeared he became very precious for the uke and that's because the seme didn't accept him because he didn't find a need to do so 'cause he saw him and treated him as a normal fucking human being in this fucking earth !

another thing I want to talk about is the pheromones .
ok , I like the idea of pheromones and I don't mind it but everything must have it's limits . somehow i'm beginning to feel that the characters are turning into animals who their only romance is sex . if I had sex with someone then I naturally fall in love with him . no dear , that's not how life works .

the last thing I want to talk about is pregnancy . as I said befor , the most thing I liked about omegaverse was the idea of males being able to have children . so why am I talking about it now ?

well , what I want to talk about is not pregnancy but not taking pregnancy and having children seriously . this is not something that should be taken lightly .

one of the amazingly irritating , annoying , and silly examples about this is " Love Is An Illusion " .
only god knows how much I cried and struggled while forcing myself to read this manga .

so this manhwa is starting to piss me , especially in the last chapter.

I mean , I don't mind misunderstandings but this one is too much.

I understand that it's the uke's fault for lying to the seme . and now he's suffering because of that lie.

but the seme is really annoying me now. I understand his feelings of being hurt and betrayed but it's becoming hard to sympathize with him when I see the uke crying every now and then while the seme puts this cold uncaring face.

also , the idea of the uke following the seme everywhere trying to clear the misunderstanding and getting rejected and hurt again and again yet continue trying again and again is annoying me.

a good example of a manga that I liked how both the uke and the seme dealt with the misunderstanding between them is : therapy game .

the uke first tried to clear the misunderstanding but when he was rejected he gave up and yet in the end he decided that he can't let go of the one he loves so easily and followed him even to the most place he didn't want to go back to.
while the seme was hurt in the beginning and rejected the uke but also showed how much he's depressed , and when he tried to listen for what others say even for a little he realized how much the uke was suffering from his lie while they were still in a relationship.


I know i'm probably wrong by being pissed by the seme's behavior in unintentional love story , but I just can't force myself.

everytime i read a romance manga ( not bl ) I just get this uneasy feeling and i always end dropping the manga .

i really hate it when the protagonist is a silly girl who follows what the rich handsome guy orders her . i also hate when the male lead harms her or creates problems for her then saves her and thinks of himself as a hero or something !

and I really can't understand how the girl falls for the guy so easily, like , I've never been in a relationship or loved someone befor but is it normal to fall in love with some just because he's handsome or rich ?! and forgive all the assault and the sexual harassing he did ?!
or even accepting it when he considers her as a thing for him to possess not as a person and wants to control everything she does ?

and after all that I still find the people reading the manga and rating it with the best ratings . so am I the wrong one here ?
