It was a hand in dark lighting followed up by a dialogue coming from the senpai saying it was "disgusting". I honestly think that's what happened and the reason for his sudden disappearance.
I hate Akihito cz he's inconsiderate, but then blames it solely to the other party for not communicating their discomfort. Sae should communicate, sure, but a person with two-cents for a brain would know not to do those things in the first place.
