i really love how no one in this manhwa got solitarily villainized. they all have their own problems, sins, and stupidity. the author doesn't exaggerate on showing/displaying "horrible" actions, but rather focus on the emotions the actions came from. this in turn makes everything so realistic.
you, as a reader, can get angry, frustrated, mad, and even feel like crying your hearts out for the characters while shouting "no!", but you can't deny, given each character's situation combined, every development makes sense. it's messy, dysfunctional, and toxic but the progression fits like clockwork.
i'm just honestly glad the author decided on a happy ending without anyone killing themselves due to depression or whatnot LMAO. coz quite honestly, if i were in either chunwoo or ho-in's place, i would've been dead, cremated, ashes thrown in the sea type of development the first few chapters. my family and friends would've seen me look like a giraffe first before i could ever muster the courage to go through the pain they've experienced.
the ending felt so much like warm rain
