Can someone tell me the whole POINT of them being reincarnated. What do the twins benefit from remembering their past lives. How do these memories help them in this life? I dont understand why the author threw in this reincarnation trope bc from the recent chapters this trope is rendered useless┗( T﹏T )┛
These are some of the points I've noticed so far that has been on my mind:
• Why is the Prince so interested in the mc when she's supposedly just a maid? He even got jealous about the necklace belonging to her "ex-lover" which makes no sense bc he's the Prince and she's just a random maid he met who did nothing big enough to leave a lasting impression on him for him to be remembering her.
• If she suddenly has a bought nobility status then why has the Duke still not hired etiquette lessons in being a Noble Lady for her yet. We've already seen her eat at the table with noble guests but how does she know table etiquette? She just danced at the ball and even admitted to not knowing how. We also know she can't read & write so....
• Also why is there not any defining features to FL's character besides the fact that she stayed by the Dukes side when he was cursed. All she does is smile, stay in her role as a maid, treat the Duke as a child and worry about the books storyline.
• FL's inner dialogue is also very vague and limited. She repeats the same things over and over again.
• Why is the King suspicious about her having a part in the curse lifting when all FL needs to say is that she and the Duke got close bc she stayed by his side and that's the sole reason Duke is obsessed with her. I don't understand how he thinks a mere maid has any part in it, it could have been the work of one of the countless sorcerers that visited the Duke. (Even tho we readers know, there is literally no proof for the King to be sus)
• FL is now worrying about the Princess and the Prince getting together. Assuming she believes the story is still following the main storyline, the Princess will eventually fall in love with the Prince so why does FL feel the need to "help" or intervene to make sure they get together when all her original purpose was to help the Duke live a good life.
These are some of the things that keep playing on my mind that just don't make sense. Overall the story is quite enjoyable so I guess you can overlook them. Does anybody else else think about this? Please let me know (●'◡'●)ノ
The common cliché of romance novels and storyline tbh. Like the level of logic is just low as shit. Also about your second bullet point. She learned basic etiquette, reading, writing and other etiquette shit from that Knight with silver hair when they were working in a barons mansion. But yeah she still needs a lot of work even with basic knowledge. SEHS ANNOYING AF NOW. PLOT ARMOR JUST FUCKING DON'T.
Oh yeah I must have missed that haha. I still believe she needs more lessons though I mean considering she might become a Duchess in the future. I agree with you she's definitely a Mary Sue character. Very surprising that everything is revolving around her when she's just a maid. I get other stories where the mc might be a Princess, a noble etc. but here its a little unrealistic yeah?
oof, i agree! also how could she not know conjunctions when she was taught by ms knight? ms girl i tot u were from the future! (/TДT)/ it was one of the things taught when ur a kid. and now, she doesnt know? i mean not like i expected her to be smart or something but at least she might have basic knowledge!
(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
it not like im hating her or smthn for being dumb or whateva
( ̄へ ̄)but please this kinda just doesnt make sense u know? she is living a normal life she prob have studied she has a smartphone right? but whateva (︶︿︶)=凸
i think she forgot, but i mean u can remember it tho? ヽ(`Д´)ノ
I don't actually believe she's amazingly smart for reading that book but if you notice when she first goes into the library she says there's no books for Lottie to read which I take as she can't understand/read them. Then she finds a blank book and suddenly understands what it says makes me believe that it holds magical properties or she was fated to see/read it regardless of her comprehension skills
Yeah like when her head starts to hurt is probably because her brain shouldn't be that developed to read such complex texts it further hints at this when she says "at first I thought it was just a novel, that even my 5 year old self could read" then says "but it wasn't that simple" I believe supports this idea ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I don't know why but this story was very underwhelming. Its like many of their reactions and emotions etc lacked in many moments throughout the story. Like when they found out abt the pregnancy = vry lacking reactions, when he woke up from the coma = wasn't that emotional, when he saw his children = very underwhelming... Idk but I liked the story regardless
Yeah I feel you!! I wanted way more story to it... everything kinda resolved super quickly and I would have loved to see more of everything!!!
Yes exactly! Like even the whole past life idea I thought was going somewhere but it never really did... it just happened and then the heirloom made them remember?? Very weird. Not to mention I wanted more children and family scenes (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I felt the exact same way lol. Very rushed and underwhelming but nice for a light read
Wow I feel this way completely. I had a lot of questions and found myself confused, but it was cute...
