The king's lunacy is at the highest level. He's a total yandere,a psychopath,a lunatic,and a loose screws lol. Did he killed Sam Yeong's family just to own him like a domestic dog? Wow, it's a really black ml and I'm curious what will happen in the future. Will Sam Yeong give in and love his majesty in the process until the ending? What will happen once he learn about his killing intent and that he's the reason behind his wife's death and now his father's. This made me curious to read more. And I pity that guard,I know his majesty will not let this end in a simple "sorry",he will kill that guard for making Sam Yeong laugh.

Is it just me, or is the content of the chapters getting messier? As in... i can understand what's taking place, but the pacing and flashbacks don't seem to flow very well together... maybe its just me, but it wasn't like this in the early chapters.

People are saying past and present emperor are “the same still” and what not. I completely disagree.
The past is the past; and the past Emperor was raised and treated differently causing him to be cruel and posessive without remorse for those he hurts.
In the present, he has completely different values because of how he spent his childhood. He learned the importance of a lover and he learned to care for and cherish a now important person to him.
This development proves he is completely different as he is NOW compared to the rapist pig of his past life.

I would bet all the money I have that if he found out all he did to Yeo-Dam in in Yeo-Dam’s past life; he would be disgusted and disgraced. I’d bet he’d even go as far as keeping HIMSELF away from Yeo-Dam out of shame for all he did.
