to those of you hating on hyesung for taking off his ring: on the surface level, taking off your ring is a sign of infidelity, not wanting to show that you're married so ppl think youre single and get with you. now, is that what hyesung was doing? NO. if you look deeper and think about his actions and WHY he did it, you would understand. he is so young, just starting college and he already has a husband and a child. it's really sad that this is the reality, but he would be SO judged for it. taking off that ring simply removes the step of having to explain himself, which could very likely result in harsh words and judgement from others, which is so tiring considering all of the other stressful things he's dealing with in his life. so let's be more understanding of hyesung...

i think this manga really captures their youth very well ... everything from the way makoto learns about luca's culture to makoto's reaction to luca's circumsion (lol) to the way they kiss exemplifies naivety and i think it is very fitting for the setting and characters!!
