god this chapter hit way too close to home .... i recently had a talk with my christian parents about what they would do if i found a gf or ended up marrying a woman, and my dad said that they're against it, but they would change the way they think to accept me and ... i know that sounds bigoted to most people but it meant so much to hear that from them bc it means that they would try to understand, and that they love me to the point of changing the way they think to accept who i am and how i live. so what lihuan's dad said is rly important to me .... i hope everyone else who's lgbtq+ can find a place where they're loved and accepted for who they are without having to worry <3

this chapter .... so so heartwarming and beautiful .... the detail with yuyang catching the flower was .. wow .... i think this chapter just really exemplified the title of "here u are," even outside of a romantic sense. this is an amazing story about different people coming together to be ... there for each other. they're HERE for each other to share their lives together, and all the pain and joy that comes with it. this is so amazingly written imo
god i will never get over how they communicate with each other... there's no unnecessary misunderstanding that leads to tiring drama that can be seen in a lot of other bls (not that its always a bad thing!), yet their emotions are realistic. i really like how hojun's inner thoughts were written out in this chapter, it really shows him trying to rationalize how he's feeling which i think is very mature of him. rooting for the both of them!!!!
