honestly, i truly commend this author for being REALISTIC. i dont think i've read a bl that deals with relationships and concepts like homosexuality as close to the real world as this one. of course, tragedy is not a requirement to be lgbt, but the way that this story deals with yuyang's (and the other characters') struggles as a gay man is very very real and very much appreciated in a genre where problematic plotlines and tropes are the norm. and the way the age gap is ADDRESSED! FINALLY! usually, age gaps are just depicted as a difference in experience in bl, but here u are goes so much further than this. BOTH parties involved in the age gap relationship realize the flaws that come with a relationship such as theirs, and it's just so refreshing. i hope zhong qiu jie and uncle pan can work everything out <3

JEALOUSY TRULY IS A DISEASE. sure, nakyum is naive and a lil dumb at times but he has been the victim for the entirety of this story. he was betrayed by the one who he thought he loved and i'm praying at this point that he's not being manipulated into thinking he has feelings for seungho like!! i know they just had sex but that entire chapter was just heartbreaking to me...... he had nowhere else to go after inwhore said that shit to him. it's so sad. he doesn't deserve to die and i REALLY hope that jihwa's plan to kill him doesn't work out!!!

AAAAAAH after reading, i think this chapter is very very important for both zhong qiu jie and uncle pan!! i used to not think anything of zqj's character, but this chapter clearly shows that he has changed and truly cares for uncle pan and their relationship. uncle pan on the other hand..... i'm upset with him to be honest. it was so shitty of him to play zqj like that and take advantage of their age difference, only to have every single intention to break off their relationship in the end. i knew something was fishy with him. i hope he can fix this because zqj is trying is best.......
