there are quite a few negative comments about this webtoon, and i just wanna say that it's very natural that this happens. there are some series that simply aren't the best, and it's a good thing to recognize the shortcomings of a story so you know you're not blindly following it just because it has some cute gay boys in it. it just so happens that this series wasn't amazing (in my opinion), and that's okay. don't feel bad about thinking that way about this story, but also don't feel bad about liking it! everyone has different tastes, so respect that other people will think differently than you. okay that's all
i literally read all of this in one day and i don't know what to do with myself so this is going to be a VERY LONG comment. firstly, i want to commend this manhwa for having a way different tone than most of the other bl i've read. it's dirty, dark, sexy, and MATURE. the struggles and conflicts the characters go through are unapologetically raw, and still emotionally impacting despite the situations themselves not being very relatable. but the characters.... damn. i got weird vibes from mcqueen from the very beginning, but after everything that has happened, i would be 100% fine if ed doesn't end up with anyone because i don't like him with either mcqueen or chang. it seems like it would be good for him to move on since he regrets that part of his life, and staying single would fit that well i think. however, this is a bl so that doesn't happen lol. nevertheless, chang is SO MUCH more interesting. when it was revealed that he has feelings for ed? DAMN. maybe i'm stupid for not seeing that coming but wow, that added a whole new layer to the story. i'm interested to see how this plays out.

god the art in this is IMMACULATE.... the sex scenes are always so perfect, so sexy and sensual without anything extra, just the two of them feeling good together. UGH. can never get enough of it!!
god the most recent chapter was so good.... i feel like the month when they were apart really allowed qiu and pan to grow and learn more about themselves and their relationship together. IM ESPECIALLY SO PROUD OF QIU!!! despite retaining his general qualities, there's a newfound maturity about him found through his awareness of his immaturity and lack of experience that i genuinely really adore. this character has grown on me so much :'))) i think that what he did was best for the two of them!! wishing them happiness <3

as much as i'm shitting on md, it's only because of the most recent chapter. all of them have done things i don't agree with. chanwoo completely blew off md despite knowing his feelings for him, seunghyun manipulated chanwoo's feelings in order to get back with md, and md is utilizing both their bdsm relationship and his past connection with seunghyun in order to get back at chanwoo for rejecting him. they all fucked up, and people need to recognize that and not put all the blame on one side.
They both suck and need to work out their problems before continuing a bdsm relationship or any type of relationship, and that's the tea.

i wrote a thorough review as a comment, but here's a shorter one!! honestly, this webtoon was kind of disappointing. the character design was pretty cute, but nothing special, and i thought that that was even one of the strongest points about this series. the characters were one-dimensional and not very interesting, and the story was shallow, rushed, and ended abruptly. i don't mean that this manhwa was bad necessarily; it's just that nothing about it really stood out or was really amazing. it's a cute, light story, and i think it works when someone wants to read something where they won't get very emotionally invested. i gave it an overall 5/10. and i'm not saying i didn't enjoy it! i did, just not as much as i had hoped, nor as much as a lot of the other bl stories that i've read. i also think it fails to stand out in the sea of so many bl series out there, which is a shame. if you really enjoyed it, that's great!! this is only my honest opinion that i wish to share with all of you :)
