this ch makes me dislike the emperor even more. he is such a bitter man, like all the suffering Etienne did in silence when in fact his father knew and still blames him?? nah if i found out what rishar found out i'd be soooo pissed. like wdym u preferred someone else as a son over me just bc of ur age old crush on his father.
is it just me but i like that there's something between helmut and alea. they're cute and it's not like they're forced, they actually are friends who get to know eo. im the type who doesn't like romance in action stuff but the author actually did it well. helmut has been abandoned and lost his loved ones that i think he deserves to be happy. (also it confuses me when they put she/her pronouns on alea when other ppl don't know she's a girl LMAO, it makes me think i missed a chapter)
i saw no comments talking abt this. at first the concept was interesting: regression, mc who tries to redeem himself, etc. but then it went downhill. ml kidnaps mc, and rapes mc when he hasn't eaten IN DAYS. beyond saving, literally i hope he rots in hell w/o ever seeing mc. that son of a bitch.

The drama is very much different. Didn't like it, didn't finish it, but MC is very much different there and apparently ends up with someone.
Good news is, that they make one season for every manga volume, and the series was already different from the manga in the second season, whereas in this last volume of the manga, he STILL isn't with anyone. Hopefully they both remain different and he ends up single at the end of the manga.
It has an official translation in German and I want to buy it, but I'll be pissed if he ends up with a guy at the end.
Also, it's up to three volumes right now, so there are no spoilers.

a lot of ppl hated the ending but it's rly realistic for older queer men to be like that. even now when my family says things, i can only laugh it off and pretend like it's a joke. the story is realistic in the romantic aspect, hs lifestyle, etc... so i rly liked this story a lot. (made me kinda sad i didn't have a hs romance lol)
