I was so glad some character development was starting to show in Seungho and omg yes Nakyum started to also notice the change, have a different view, have time to at least s t a r t healing from all the shit this same Seungho did to him before- BUT NO

We have to go back to fucking square one. I thought ok Seungho will get mad and maybe attempt rape and stops bec now he is more honest about his emotions with himself. I would get it if he takes it out by locking him or breaking stuff or bad words or flat out acting like Nakyum didn't exist and tell him all the kindness he showed was a lie, but raping him /again/ surely wasn't the best thing to do as an author.

I get that Seungho's ego and his coping mechanism got him to take it out by assuring himself Nakyum is nth but a sex toy he gets to fuck and have no lingering attachments to by raping him and ruining him so he wouldn't think he treasures him, but still that defeats the purpose of the path to character development the author had paved in the previous chapters.

Nakyum won't easily recover from this, and if he forgives Seungho after JUST an apology and boohoo I was wrong I would hate this even more and would never approve of their relationship more than I do now (which is basically a not bec it is very toxic and aint getting better) so I hoped at least even with their bad start they get better together personality wise. Now it is just mindless rape to fill out the role of a yaoi manga. This is pointless. I am genuinely tired. This chapter wasn't worth the week wait.

I don’t usually comment on manhwas but this one just annoyed me so much! This had so much potential to be deeper and make it more meaningful (esp since the backstory of Junseo has such a powerful impact) BUT ALAS they had to butcher a perfectly good story. I was so against it and saw the bad end the moment the author decided to show Karam is liking Jaewon. By then i already knew the ending will be shit. I was perfectly fine with Karam not liking him but being curious about what’s going on, his emotions, and his unsure thoughts. He always stroke me as the chch who’s acting gullible to avoid problems bec he cares for Jaewon and bec Jaewon is kind so he doesn’t wanna hurt him. When he said they should just remain friends, up till then, it was going according to what i thought was best.

Jaewon would let go of his rather obsessive crush on him, would notice Junseo who stood by him through high and low, supporting him even when it goes against his own interests, wanting him happy no matter what, and having already a very deeply build character personality that always hinted he is a main character as well. This was a perfect time to deepen this and make it bloom (AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE)

But then this seemed like the author just decided suddenly after this (but what if Karam-) and that’s when we see Karam acting totally different from the entire chapters before that and when u ruin a perfectly good relationship chart that would’ve made the ending better.

Karam didn’t deserve Jaewon. He knew how be felt all along and yet hurt him by first rejecting him and even acting gullible before. This is simply ridiculous. If he was always meant to be the other main lead then the author should’ve gave him more depth, and gave us more insight into him, why he did what he did, how he thinks and his past. Instead, now it feels too dumb to even comprehend.
