aides made an incredibly good point that attractive and talented people keep up with their skill by constantly working hard and improving themselves. arvine finally realizing he can’t obtain what he wanted for simply being born in a wealthy family or marrying a noble woman was his eye opener. it’s refreshing to see what is normally unredeemable trash who will never see the wrong of their ways, actually see the wrong in their ways! maybe it’s just me tho, cause i’ve read too many similar stories where the antagonists and side villains just wallow in their own ignorance and misery.
