breaking news man discovers he can feel empathy
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/74/u79134_50x50.jpg?2)
I don't think it's empathy cause' he wouldn't have done all the degrading things he's done to bottom if not. It's more a feeling of fascination (bc bottom is strong, persistant...) added to attraction (he's clearly attracted to him since first day), resignation (he has no choice but to let mc live, since mc is determined to sacrifice himself for the organisation, so he processes to give him medical cares even though he's the one hurting mc...).
But yes, he does feel bad for Benjamin.
Don't know why I'm still here, I must be really bored, lol...

hey guys, jealousy is a perfectly fine emotion to feel. all emotions are valid. what isn’t okay is taking it out on other people. no one is going to crawl into your mind and reprimand you for emotions you can’t control. you can, however, control your actions, and actions have consequences. jiah probably stopped writing, something that gave her so much joy, so much so she even called it the golden age of her life, out of guilt for her friend probably taking out her jealousy on her. is it jiah’s fault people find her writing interesting? is it a talented artist’s fault for being more skilled in her brushwork? is it an office worker’s fault for being better at organizing data? let’s recognize that there are no faults except for those who outwardly display their jealousy, and harm others in the end. jiah may have not put as much effort into writing, but who are you or her friend to take away something that gave her so much joy?
if you’re currently in this position where you’re jealous of a friend, please keep being friends with them and recognize your jealousy is okay, it’s a natural human emotion. however, if you fear you’ll end up resenting them and might even take it out on them, cut them off for both of your sakes. maybe you guys can even revisit your friendship in the future like jiah and her friend, but that’s after some growth and reflection. seeing some comments here made me worry about how some of you think it’s okay to impose your insecurities onto others. if you can’t healthily communicate how you feel, it’s not a flex or something you should be proud of proclaiming…

is lio that boring? i’ve definitely read some manga/manhwa with guys very similar to him but i still find his character to be charming. idk i just like it when the ml is hopelessly in love with the mc and then having an obstacle as ridiculous as the saintess controlling literally everyone and then making him incapable of confessing his true feelings is just an interesting premise to me
wow ngl i felt emotional when all the ceciles teamed up to send a bunch of the books saying “you can do it” to mc one last time. love me a good love trumps all ending even if it was a little cheesy. this story was so effortlessly funny and didn’t take itself too seriously. although, i would’ve loved to see the action actually play out but i understand the artist might not be the action type drawer. especially the scene where they beat the girgantia for the first time. he just turns small and it’s not explained how cecile used the sceptre to subjugate him.
i remember reading this awhile back too but it was during my phase where all i did was skim 50 billion of the same villainess otome isekai manhwa and didn’t actually absorb any of the story. it was a great choice to reread this again! do recommend
