just goes to show you how time changes people. i think it hurts even more knowing haesoo genuinely fell in love with a sweet boy who did anything for her…. and then get stuck with a dirty cheating bastard. it’s sad but the unfortunate reality of some relationships. some people don’t like how the backstory humanizes mincheol but i think that’s the point, humans are imperfect and full of flaws. time changes people and it’s important to realize when it’s time to leave. i don’t blame haesoo for hoping that the old mincheol would come back, bc he was so good to her in the flashbacks, but i think it’s a good message for anyone who might find themselves in a similar situation and see the signs of when it’s time to leave the relationship
