oh how differently ahrin would’ve turned out if she got a proper education and was allowed to be socialized and her family didn’t hate her. them hating her only fuels her more cause her bio mom told her that the harder to get the play the more interesting. imagine if she meets a regular guy or girl outside her family who plays hard to get and how normal this story could be i love it tho it’s fucked up but super interesting

if this is going down the predictable route, black hair guy will be endgame bc he doesn’t see children as the end goal and white hair guy is just gonna be with the homewrecker or end up alone.
but if the story wants to take a different route and have the couple remain endgame, white hair guy up until this point thought mc wanted kids and it’d make her happy, as he is working so his wife doesn’t have to. this is backed up by his (rather immature) thoughts, such as “don’t all women want to be housewives?” and “women naturally want children and will be happy, right?” but she has trauma with childbirth and also doesn’t want her existence as a woman to be boiled down to a babymaker. wife thinks she needs to stop burdening her husband by earning more income but he thinks it’s because SHE thinks he doesn’t earn enough. communication goes a longggggggg way. anyway if they can fix these fundamental misunderstandings, then i dont see why they came remain together. i dont understand the divorce papers though.
hey guys as someone who’s asian and from a culture where we call older men “brother,” the way they’re addressing each other is fucking weird
