But there are just too many plotholes. As someone mentioned already, the author built this fascinating but then left a bit too much to our imagination ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ for example- what’s the requirement of being an adult? I think I read one too many supposedly adult characters say that they aren’t fully adults. Then there’s Mono- considering how ambiguous his story had been since season 1 I felt like majority of s2 should have gone to him. I mean, I loved watching Mananan and Monday but Mono had too much depth that was left unexplored. Who exactly is he? Why is he so different? Why is it hard for him to keep the other form and why this form anyway? What exactly had been and is his relationship with Baron? I don’t mind that he sorta ended up with Baron even tho Lego was my first ship but seriously e, elaborate a bit more! This by no means is a bad manhwa its good and beautiful but so much of it’s potential was ignored I was just left massively disappointed ┗( T﹏T )┛

OMG YESSSSS ughum excuse the outburst but I just found it like two days ago (currently at chapter 56) and I’m screeching ヾ(☆▽☆) it’s art, pure art...I’ve been all soft and sensitive after finishing “Tale of the Yellow Dragon” (it also has the same supernatural, historical theme) so Mo Dao Zu Shi is my shot of serotonin XDXD if you haven’t read Tales of the Yellow Dragon yet I’d highly recommend it: the art is spectacular, the concept is beautiful and altho’ a bit heartwrenching there’s a lot of goody good stuffs to make up for it ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ no joke it has my most favourite sex scenes of all (excuse my language)

So basically what Im assuming is that The Yiling Patriach was given as the title to Wei
Wuxian (Wei ying- same dude. they just have alot of names xD ) cus he kind of went of
track and start practicing the unorthodox path of cultivation which was by using the
energy of the dead n bla bla. The Yiling Burial grounds was where he was pushed by
some fucktard named 'Wen Chao'. so basically the energy level there is bad and harmful
to the body. cus like alot of people died there n had battles there ages n ages ago. so
getting pushed there means its really hard to survive and really get out of there alive.
and Wei ying managed to do that. And there is a reaason why wei wuxian started to
practice the demonic arts. he had no chooice. and as for the reason.. I'll you find out ;)
everyone is hating on WeiWuxian cus he hot af and mischievous to the core. although he
is from the Jiang sector. he was just brought up there. and he used to be a very very
good cultivator. But shit happened :p It's not that it's bad. people were very competitive
and always wanted their own sector to be the one who is leading and the strongest
among the rest. well all but the Gusu Lan Sector (Hanguang Jun/Lan Wanji/Lan Zhan's
sector)<_ so many names as usual.. but hanguang jun basically means second master. I

Himura needs to yeet tf out of this relationship asap...honestly the main conflict (aside from the injury) that’s the basis of this story wasn’t even so dark and tragic that it couldn’t have been resolved with a bit of small talk like people hear things that make them mad, they get mad, end of story.. how did that make Himura detestable?? I understand that he never asked jin about his feelings before, but now that he’s trying his best to be with the one he loves Jin is being an asshole...and sidenote, who tf is so intimate with someone who they have no sexual or romantic relationship with? You just don’t go up and french kiss your friend, right? I had high hopes from this but this is all kinds of fuxked up..
Don’t get me wrong, I really did like this on a general perspective but, I don’t know, I feel like there was so many things that could or should’ve been elaborated a bit: like from the top Junghyuk was giving off the classic “not so ok in the head” vibe with all his looks and behaviours and as it was cancelled out at the end it could’ve been done in a more meaningful way(?). The ending itself felt rushed for both the main and side story and Sungdo is such a mystery who is he actually and what’s his story ?? Wish the side story would have a bit more development,too...it’s just a missed opportunity ┗( T﹏T )┛
