Okay, I understand that by killing all those people that he prince did what he thought was best for his country. I don't know if that makes him logical or crazy but I'll keeping reading because I find the story interesting. My only problem I have about it is that he showed not true signs of remorse or grieving for the people afterward.
THAT SAID:
If I were in her position when he stated that he would kill them all, I would tell him that I now understand and start walking away...only to turn around and stab him in the stomach and while he asks why I have done such a thing...I will smile and state "You taught me that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. One mans death is nothing to save 200." Then after he has died, I will help his uncle(?) take the throne as long as he promises not to be as rash or oblivious as the previous emperor and crown prince. If needed I'll even give him a fucking heir. Then I'll build a harem comprised out of the Gardener, Helen, Helen's brother, the uncle (whom will now be ruler), and some random hot long-haired mage I find along the way (because a proper harem always has a hot ass mage).
How could one not be tired when putting a child to sleep? It's a process that uses so much energy. And when you start cuddling with the kid, ya just find yourself nodding off to sleep.
Sincerely,
Eldest Sibling of Four
