I remember back when the plot development felt like a regular-degular fluffy cutesy medium/slow-burn slice of life shounen ai and the story was only tagged as such... I got so shocked when it got smutty and darker (parents subplot) and to this day, everytime a new chapter comes out im still caught off guard lol. Not that i'm complaining!! But yeah it's NOT what expected at first
I really miss the innocent cutesy little beginning where it was still just a one sided crush, tbh i kind of stopped liking it once they entered highschool and it took a massive turn. the one thing i enjoyed about this was that it was fun and silly but now it's sex sex sadness
right !! i also preferred the 'comedy w a little bit of romance on the side' aspect of it but now that its become more matut I think there's potential for the story to actually develop and show us their growth with more adult themes ig

I think this is one of those super slow burn stories where comedy and moe are kinda the main themes and the author is gonna stretch out the plot for multiple volumes with no guarantee there's gonna be any relevant romance development until the very end bc it's secondary ig... I still love it tho but yeah i also wish their relationship progressed more actively
