i fucking hate how they js can't get things straight. if ure so in love with her y not js tell her and then try to woo her or something ofc she'd feel anxious
....you do remember that Sion has killed her multiple times, right? And that he knows Laila remembers all of that? Of course that is going to haunt him. Don't get me wrong, I get the frustration, but the story is more correct to dwell on this and his reasoning.
I'm honestly waiting to see that one scene from the novel promo where Sion is hugging Laila by the waist, crying and asking her to not die. At some point I thought the webtoon just skipped that part, but now I'm hoping we'll still get to see it (possibly in relation to Sion coming clean and them having a discussion about all of it).

No right, if a man killed me multiple times in every life except this one I would be scared asf
Lol bruh he murdered her several times. I’m just glad the author gave him a nugget of self awareness. Kinda hard to get things “straight” when that information is known by both parties.

If it helps at all, remember that it's a fictional story that explores those things with added elements that make it unrealistic (sion's hero immortality, repeated regressions), yet is somewhat realistic/grounding with how the topics are talked about, and giving the characters things that make it easier for readers to like and relate to them. Especially Sion, he grew and managed to get back his humanity thanks to Laila and the regressions. He's also just a likeable character tbh.
Think of it in a similar way to yandere/manipulative/obsessive romantic leads - a lot of people like them in fiction and stories they read, but find the concept horrid irl. I don't personally get them, but that's how people are, as well as stories - we generally can use them as tools to explore different things that don't really work in reality ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I agree with the replies here.. I think in this story their reactions actually makes sense because of their pasts
Not that I dont want them to be happy together but their hesitance is understandable
