I always liked tea, but after reading this i became a bit obsessed. I learned so much from this, and i love how they use the real tea names so i can search them. I did a bunch of research on teas, and i came across this tea called "Butterfly Pea". It is a tea made out of a beautiful blue flower, the tea color is the amazing blue color, also i found a tea called rooibos tea, it has such a pretty red color to it.

I get it. like I get how this could be a good concept in theory actually as a short story I can imagine this would kind of be amazing. But I just feel like there's something missing or something not connecting idk what it is because the potential is undeniably there when you look at the very bare story structure
guy gets isekaid into the body of a nameless man left for dead with no memories. He has a mysterious ability and uses that ability to become the owner of a weapon shop with a little demon girl that he has saved he ends up meeting another girl who threatens his peaceful life with the young girl due to her ideals/possition he but she instead becomes his disciple and they go on a trip together to help him find out why his passion (weapon making) isn't as good as the one the girl had. He ends up finding out that this body is the face of a famous adventurer that is considered a traitor for harbouring a demon kin and then finds out that they can share consciousness allowing both of them to achieve their goals.
Ok on paper that sounds really good !! like that sounds good. this isn't overly pervy and charachters have really we structured personalities. Li Yan is a child and she behaves like one she's wilful , clingy and spoilt. Carona is head strong and very set in her beliefs and ways because they are her own she doesn't think she just does things based on the handbook and Zhai He (MC) is PERFECT he's not overly savvy about anything other than making weapons and he's not even that good at that. His plans are mediocrely thought through but that makes sense HES AN UNCLE THAT RUNS A WEAPON SHOP. He's overly trustful , ignorant of the politics , stupid with money and overall he's a charachter that isn't necessarily cut out to be the lead in his own adventure story but that's why he's fun to watch ! So why does this fall flat ? maybe the lack of foreshadowing about the adventurer for someone so famous we only hear about him when we find out our MC looks like him ( which he fucking doesn't by the way.) it's really hard to get a picture of this valiant and moralistic hero when we are force fed his life in a single chapter. The world building is a little shallow I know the demons and humans are at war but ... I don't know that much else about their powers and the landscape and the relationship between Nobel's and commoners , which might just be because this a LN adaptation. Overall it feels shallow ? like something that should just be pushed that bir further because I'm putting this on hold but if it was developed I would've put it into my favourites. It does a lot right and I want to like it. One more positive because even though I'm going to stop reading for now it isn't bad. The message is clear " Hero's have to be people who protect the people that matter to them " because that's what everybody in this does. Corona tries to protect humanity , The ghost tries to protect other people from the pain she felt , The demons are trying to protect themselves. Everybody wants to be a hero and look after the people that matter to them but that doesn't mean that people that are also protecting what matters to them are your enemy just because there are different things you want to protect.
