People calling this chapter a recap, but it does show Ahin’s point of view for what’s happened so far. I like that because the story is mostly told from Vivi’s point of view, and from her perspective the panthers are super confusing so Ahin ends up having this air of mystery to him, even though we can assume his thought processes most of the time. I don’t consider it a recap since we’re seeing the events from a different angle.
I do understand that this is a frustrating cliffhanger to have twice in a row though, lol, since everyone’s been waiting for the moment that Vivi transforms in front of Ahin. I can’t wait for the next chapter! ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

She doesn’t seem to remember much about her past life, aside from it being her inspiration for calling Theo “little brother.” I wonder if it’ll eventually reveal that she in her past life was asked to help save her current family by a dragon spirit disguised as that lizard... or something lol. The whole reincarnation part probably plays a part in some other way since she doesn’t remember it enough to use it otherwise

WAIT... Necromancy?? But wasn’t Aisha supposed to die before MC took over her body? Does this mean that in the original book, Mikhail controlled the dead Aisha’s body and created a whole new persona (*cough* title drop *cough*) that was the FL named “Deborah”? It would make so much sense because Aisha and Deborah have so much in common, and both are potentially a reincarnation of the original light magic user. WHAT IF THEY WERE THE SAME PERSON, or er, well... body??? And Mikhail maybe made Deborah to help him control adult Abel?!?!?!?
(This is all still conjecture at this point.)

I am obsessed with stories like this one that feature fantasy monsters either as MCs or as supporting characters for the MC. I’ve read:
-Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken (aka Reincarnated as a Slime)
-Re: Monster
-Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko (aka Child Loved by the Gods)
-Spirit Migration 01
-Superior & Superior Cross
-Monster No Goshujin-sama (aka Monster Tamer)
I’m probably missing a few but these are the most memorable ones I’ve read. Any recommendations for more?
I was under the impression that Hailyn had a good time with the other children at the orphanage, and it was only after being adopted by the Count that the abuse began. But then Duke Castillo says in Ch. 49 that the orphanage was abusing her. Is this a translation error or is the Duke misunderstanding things?? Was she actually abused at the orphanage?
i think he might misunderstand.. since the day they met she hasnt arrived to that count's house yet and she did jump off the carriage and met up with the prince.
