um, is this based on a novel? considering we didn't really get to see how he got stronger. it was very short and summarized

I have the same impression. What he was missing was information and freedom to act as he wish. That was all. But damn, I want book like this. Info is gold no matter, if it's real world or made-up one :D
it was just really nice to read! international couples have all kind of culture shocks and this manga just give you a nice precpective (can't spell it lol) of how it can be! just a really nice manga to read
I wanted to like it!!!! I really did, it has a really good premis, but I just felt that it was so boring..... Not heartwarming enough, not enough fluff, not dramatic... nothing!
