Ok, I just wanted to comment, remember how in the 1st chapter, we see a whole page featuring the MC, ML, and their kids but when we counted it was only 9? Well, since the baby who has the exact coloring of the ML and has a talent with strategy, MAYBE this is the 'last' baby to complete the 10th (not in chronological order) since the new baby in the new chapter wears glasses in the incoming chapters AND in the featuring page, I couldn't find a child wearing glasses which is why I thought like that. Yeah, if anybody else have their own theory, feel free to comment.
This is so sad. I know it was wrong of him to not often be in his family's life (because he also said he felt awkward when his kids grew up, some parents experience that cause they aren't kids anymore, they are now grown adults with their own mind so I think he couldn't really relate) and prioritizing his work. I also understand that his family is feeling lonely and hurt that he doesn't spend more time with them at all. The dude should've spent more time with his family more [even if he felt alienated, at least try] but that doesn't mean he deserves to be kicked out of his house, not invited to a party, and get disrespected by his daughter. Like if his location is in Tokyo and I could understand since the work ethic there is harsh and it's not cheap to live in Tokyo. He also provides income so that they could live a good life which means he was thinking of them despite alienating or distancing himself from them. I mean, in that moment, he could've have cheated on his wife and stuff but no, the dude just work and work. The family also has to the right to feel like their dad/husband is pushing away from them but should've pushed or tried to make an effort to glued back together, and if they did at least the first and second then I would give them credit but pushing it more would've been better. This is my own personal opinion but I would prefer a Dad who would work in order to provide us income to survive and feels alienated than a Dad who would do something worse.
Well, you have to take his family's view too. Maybe for his children, his whole actions was nothing less than negligence. As a child, him almost ignoring them, left aside and felt like not being acknowledge is the same as him living for himself with his selfishness and better off not having him since for them it doesn't really make a difference.
For him, it might be the gap that he couldn't cross as he walks forward in life but for his family, it was bridge that crumbled slowly and collapsed throigh time.

I did take his family's view too that's in my explanation. Which is why both parties should've reached out with each other instead of doing what they did in the manga chapter (〜￣△￣)〜
Realistically enough, I find their whole circumstance as the most common in society so I don't have a say to their conclusion. But as a person, they really have too much of an attitude to break a family just lyk that. (￣∇￣")

read the raws that someone commented down below and its until chapter17. So in the next chapter, the MC and demon king is in an onsen where when a man and woman go together inside the water (and maybe say they wanted a child or something) the MC go preggo again and laid the egg. The next kid is really cute, the appearance is the exact copy of the demon king but with short hair and (gonna wear) glasses. I think the reason people who read the raws before chapter 17 came out that the baby looked suspicious cause of hte last panel where it went all evil aura thing, it's cause the baby is literally smart lol I think strategy or something related to that is their talent or probs the mom of hte Demon king possessed the kid cause like the next scene focuses on infiltrating the human king's castle to help the mom of the demon king out of prison. They infiltrated and escaped via big moles into underground. (PS. I keep getting confused of the general and the king cuase they look alike except for the king that has a scar on his face) . The next chapter is where the queen comes back in the castle after years of captivity and kind og challeneged the MC since MC was like in this sparta mode where she cleaned a room or the whole castle squeaky clean. When the MC found the ML and the elf king, they look like they were making some weird magic juju based on that weird looking witch's pot with bugs and all. MC almost fainted from the 'horrid' looking contents of the pot XD and well, the ML DRANK from the thing and turned into his cute younger self. SUPER CUTE HFBSKJFBJS. I think the reason he drank and turn into a kid maybe cause to find the tree that his dad used to go for his mom (i think based on drawings). MC, ML, and kids went exploring and found the view of where they can see the big ass tree (looks like the big ass tree from windrise in genshin lol fave spot in the game). THe ML turned back to his OG body and they went home. The MC said something to the queen (ML's mom) and probs hit a chord and she got touched (probs) on what the MC said (maybe about the dad). Well, the last scene of the raws was the MC saying something and probs touching the queen's boob (i think cause the perspective looked like it, no flames pls) and queen was probs angry on what teh MC did (?) lol.
