for me it seems like maybe this will be a case of DID? like at first hes clueless what is kissing and the next he knows when the mc wants to kiss him and kisses him wilinglly- then goes to throw up and talks to himself how hes one of hell of a guy? so maybe hes potentially talking to his other self ?
I feel like yall are being obtuse on purpose, how is it normal and healthy to punish ur partner with kinky sex bc he wasnt telling you something- instead of trying to make him comfortable so he can open up he does this
- to add onto this ash choose a safe word he knew lyle would use bc hes too embarrassed.. its fine to explore new things in sex with ur partner but not in this context- for me it seems like all character traits of ash that were in the main story just went out of the window in these last few chapters
Um yea.... Abit hard for me as well..... I just wanted lyle to propose with whatever planned that he had.... When he actually wanted to do smthg nice.... And ash just had to ruin it...
all of this!! I'm skipping until this scene is over
100% ive been saying this. Ash used this as a form of communication which pushed all his development down the drain. He ruined the proposal for Lyle and made him confess in a moment of embarrassment all bc Ash doesn’t trust his partner.
agreed but what does that have to do with media literacy ?
maybe I used the wrong term but I meant that people lack the ability to criticize the media they enjoy
So icky fr. I hate this god awful trope. Even if it’s a play lyle is clearly uncomfortable and telling him to stop. Considering they’re in a relationship they should know what consent is by now
exactly! like, I'm all for people getting introduced to play, safely, and what not.. but this is done in such poor taste imo!! Ash has shown so many orange flag behaviors throughout the story already, but this stunt really ruined his character for me. I also dont like how Lyle's dominance and alpha characteristics just became nonexistent in this relationship. Given his upbringing, he's emotionally fragile, which is perfectly understandable, but from my perspective Ash has always used that to his advantage in the name of "love". They're not equals and there's a clear power imbalance in their relationship that I personally do not like!
but anyways, I absolutely love and adore Lyle and I think he deserves the world! and someone who doesn't use sex as a "punishment" because hes struggling to express himself
