One of the few relationships out of a lot of manga/manhwas I've read that is genuine. I see everyone wants Maya to be this perfect guy that doesn't lie and appreciate every ounce of Nemu but that wouldn't be an appealing story, would it?
I like things like this. Simple mistakes and arguments. They test the waters of the relationship, the do's and don't's but in the end love is stronger. Maya adores the ground Nemu walks on and Nemu is head over heels in love with Maya.
Nemu is too insecure and sensitive and that's fine when you're dating the sexiest guy from your high school. And Maya is an air head and temperament guy who is afraid of making his boyfriend worry. Two polar opposites will have many downfalls.
This is neither boy's fault so I don't see why Maya is the bad guy. In the first few chapters early on; I got it. He was a jerk and forced himself on Nemu. But he's learned and grown up a lot (not completely) but enough.
Anyway...I just feel like white lies are a relationship must because it just shows boys will be boys and things we don't like happens. No need to look for a new guy to make matters escalate into a very harsh break up guys. If this was a real couple--that could actually end the relationship for good. Trust me, I've seen it happen.
Guys lie to stop their boy/girlfriend from crying and freaking out over nothing. And boy/girlfriends cry and grow paranoid over everything.

I understand where your coming from. But that's if the lies are truly toxic and the partner lying is definitely causing their loved one harm (emotionally or physically) cheating, abuse, ignoring, etc...
What Maya does is basically white lies of stupidity. He thinks lying to Nemu is better than facing his hurt or negative feelings. It's classic of everyone to hide things that they may think is nothing but their partners may think differently.
That can cause arguments but does that mean it should be the ending of a possibly great relationship? This is all personal opinions of course and I think asking for a break up or serious distrust in Maya now is just pointless. I believe Nemu should stand up for himself and tell Maya to stop lying to protect his "feelings" and work from there. Isn't that the basics of a relationship? People shouldn't want a fantasy relationship where everything is perfectly laid out and everyone is open about everything.
Life is too short; I agree. But It's not worth running away when things aren't going your way, then maybe staying out of a relationship is the best option for now and grow as an individual. Life is too short to give up on possibly the best thing that's helped you grow over the years.
Yeah he is hiding it to avoid seeing Nemu getting hurt or nervous. The problem is that if he keeps doing that Nemu will not grow up and learn how to cope with situations
I agree with this one. Maya did lie to protect Nemu. I know it's still wrong and Nemu still got hurt. But Maya surely did learn fron his mistake, that's why he promised to tell Nemu everything from now on. It's not like he always lie to him.
Yeah this is what I was basically saying. If Maya was a constant liar and always hid every single thing from Nemu then I would be all for Nemu moving on. But Maya hasn't done anything in a little while deserve getting dumped for a failed white lie.

Shocking enough, between the two assholes, I dislike Jiwook worse than Johoon. Johoon is a horrid guy, but Jiwook is the one who called him into their life to fuck up his poor brother's existence. Moreover, back-stories can sometimes save the shittiest of characters and make them at least a little likeable. We've yet to see what made Johoon so cruel and crazy, while we've already seen Jiwook's pathetic little sob-story, which, along with proving his actions were just pointlessly cruel and dramatic and all against the wrong person, also just showed how much of a scum through and through he is. JIWOOK. DESERVES. NO. REDEMPTION.
Joohoon was manipulated but there’s no excuse for what he has done. I think he was willing to help Woojin because he made a mistake and it’s his way to make amend as for Jiwook he’s so blind by his jealousy that someone has to tell him he killed his own brother
He didn't call him in to fuck up his brother's life...? I am really confused as to how you came to that conclusion...? Johoon is the one who manipulated Jiwook into HIS life. Because shit for brains Jiwook wanted to be better than his brother rather than actually targeting the right people for causing him to FEEL that way in the FIRST place, the ADULTS in his life. Johoon capitalized on that. Then when Jiwook got into Johoon's bad books he went with the flow and pushed his brother down into the bottomless pits of the abyss.
Backstories don't make me any more sympathetic to the shittiest of characters. They actually either confirm my opinion of them or make them LESS likeable.
It's for these reasons (and others) that I hate Johoon far worse than Jiwook and always will.

Both Johoon amd Han Jiwook can fall off a cliff at the end of this story and I will not shed a tear. I agree with the back story analogy. Either it saves their character from being a total dick and maybe even soften my heart a little or completely validate my opinions. And Han Jiwooks backstory set my opinion of him into action. He is no longer a redeemable character to me. But Johoon has a small opening (VERY SMALL) of being slightly liked, though I honestly doubt his character was ever created except to be purely one tracked.

Um, yeah, Jiwook did put Siwon in Joohoon's path deliberately to have him destroyed. Latest chapters. Jiwook was the one who brought Joohoon into Siwon's life. He also distributed the rape videos to get the meanest bullies at school to view him as a cum dump and rape him over and over. I think Joohoon is a horrible person, but based on the actions we've seen, Jiwook is worse. Stabbing your own kin is more evil than stabbing strangers or acquaintances. Jiwook is a manipulative little shit, so he never directly got his hands dirty, but he is just as guilty as all the rapists.
It's seriously nuts that people keep saying Jiwook isn't that bad, or he's not as bad as Joohoon. He prided himself in making his brother known as the resident cum dump. Those were his words. That public rape/sex scene really proved to me that Bum really has Stockholm Syndrome and I feel like it is only progressing worse by the seasons; he'll do anything for Sangeoo at this rate. I did see in comments how some people felt the anticipation for more lacked some luster this season, but I personally am enjoying what we have here. Not many stories out with this kind of twisted shit.
That ending scene is probably the most complex part for me. When Bum said he liked Sangwoo repeatedly--that weird flashed showed up again in Sangwoo's eyes. Just like in season 1 after he thought Bum got away; god I hope that means something and I'm not looking too deep.
My only real complaint if anything is officer seungbae; to me he is/was the biggest moron I have ever seen. As a police officer your job is to be quick and professional. I get it; women and men are dying left and right and your positive you have your killer but going around yelling at your best witness (Yoon Bum) and beating the shit out of the suspect (Sangwoo--which he so rightfully deserves) is just fucking stupid. Seungbae job is to act like nothing can phase him but the fact he wears his anger/emotions on his sleeve is the worst trait a cop could have.
He may as well kiss his career goodbye and he could now end up blaming himself if more people die next season because how rash he acted. He just ruined his best chance of catching Sangwoo (legally).
This doesn't stop him from doing more later to catch sangwoo but I don't know how that will play out. Also now that Sangwoo also knows him; I doubt he's gonna be lazy anymore about hiding his targets. And he still has Bum under his spell.

I couldn't imagine thinking I finally found someone to fill in a void in my life only to find out I was being used this entire time. And 3 years is a long damn time. I would be devastated. First his mom beats him, kills herself, he's sees her body, taken by a father that can't stand his existence, then makes a friend in foreign country; only for them to use him.
I would have lost my mind if I was Kang Jun...that's is crazy how much he went through. Makes me pity him more now than ever.
Because before I thought he was a little rough around the edges with Siwon but now I understand why he was so cold to him at times. He couldn't trust him with his background of a let downs and heart aches. Siwon being naive at times really didn't help his situation either.
Anyway...really love this story. Beautiful art and crazy character ploys which keeps me excited. Though I really am over do for some of my SiJun/Jinwon Ship sailing to take place(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Been reading this for a while and I think this is my first real comment. I really enjoy the aspect of Kouhei and Taichi's relationship. Yes, it can be a drag but also eye opening.
Relationships are not as basic as people think. People get offended that Taichi is dense, but when are people ever not dense or naive? Especially (sorry if I offend some people) young men. He's young and one track minded, so I'm not shocked he misses Kouhei's signals. Most people would; everyone has to stop looking at this as third persons and see this as if it were you. I am a young female and I know if I kept my feelings hidden 95% of the time and threw signals here and there my significant other would surely miss it.

Now yes I did love Kouhei's "I love you" it was raw and upfront but I think Taichi himself needs to open up too and get comfortable with his love life more. I just need more from both parties. Taichi to wake up and realize his love is actually normal for Kouhei and Kouhei to stop doubting everything because something makes him jealous or sad.
But didn't taichi already tell kouhei that he loves him? I don't know how much verbal can he get with that. It's not taichi's fault that kouhei lacks self-confidence (in which kouhei admitted multiple times). There is only so much taichi can do if kouhei lacks self-confidence.
I agree fully..Taichi did admit his love but then it makes it weird to Kouhei that even though the man you love said he loves him; he doesn't physically act upon it more. It's like a reassurance to Kouhei that Taichi is fully commited to this and it's not a joke or phase. But of course I'm not saying Taichi is to blame nor Kouhei. Like I mentioned both men really need to learn to communicate if they want to last in the long run. Taichi is nowhere near to blame for Kouhei's self doubting and barely opening up. I wish Kouhei would stop stepping on his own toes and realize Taichi does love him; he just shows it in a more shy way then himself ( Taichi's love just isn't as in your face). It's catch 22 basically to me at least.
