The author, Felicia, made merchs out of her first webtoon, 304th Study Room a few years ago (2016 or 2017 i forgot). I ordered a few artprints along with my friend who's also a fan. She ended up never delivering her merchs out to the buyers, saying that her mother threw them all out.
Fast forward and it turns out she was lying, all of the merchs were in her house practically gathering dust. She went awol while her mother and sister were actually scrambling around trying to send them out or give out refunds to ppl who have ordered, but it was difficult since Felicia didnt keep clear addresses or money transfer info. Me and my friend never got our refund btw, we only knew abt all of this long after we made peace with the lost money.
Funny addition to this, Felicia Huang is not even her real name (it was Feryka). And though i can understand having pseudonyms as an author, she went above and beyond by pretending to be of chinese descent and using that as her real name while posting pictures of herself with the edits turned up to the max so she looks more chinese.
She also made up crazy stories abt how she was abused by her stepdad (she didnt have one), got accepted as a flight attendant at qatar airlines (she didnt, it was her sister who did), and cited getting scammed by people as an excuse of why her merchs were always in a troubled situation.
Just a shitty person all around actually. There were many more cases and allegations against her but i'm a bit lazy to list the whole thing lol. I'm still salty now but less abt the money and more on the fact that i was scammed

I really love this but I wish there's a sequel that focuses on Kojima actually pulling his weight in this relationship damn. I get that he's a bigtime star and he's used to being fawned upon but at this rate he's leaving all the loving and sacrifices to Ryousuke while he's just... kinda there. I just wanna see them being more on an equal footing, and I'm not talking abt their careers
I love love love the writer’s take on towers/dungeons and the higher beings that created them, in other manhwas they were mostly portrayed as strictly malicious and power hungry entities that could NOT accept being told they were wrong. SSS Class’ take on them being a mirror, a reflection of the climber’s, and their neutrality in allowing the climbers autonomy is SUCH a fresh breath of air.
