I just want to rant about the 3rd timeline (novel)...

I heard the 3rd timeline was different since it's klopp who kept his memories this time.. people hyped it and I thought we might finally see him express his guilt and seek forgiveness instead of translating everything into selfishness anger and lust. But no, it didn't happen.

The first timeline was so heartbreaking and I cried for Aeroc many times, he was raped, starved, beaten, imprisoned, humiliated broken ruined, he made him pregnant many times then took his children away from him... he went through all kinds of hell and agony but STILL asked forgiveness from klopp the whole time. It was so heartbreaking and frustrating to read that part so obviously as a reader I was SO excited to have these other timelines where we could finally witness klopp realise the monstrosity of his actions and AT LEAST try to beg forgiveness, make amends, try to do something for this lover he ruined because of his inferiority complex.. but we did not get that, all I see now is a messed up klopp, one who still so self absorbed in his own misery, not truly acknowledging the gravity of his own sins, still making it about him and his obsession with Aeroc...

it's just so fascinating how the author couldn't give us the feeling of satisfaction even after three timelines! my only conclusion is that the author finds Klopp's arrogance and cruelty so charming and likable, to the point where they can't influence it with a bit of guilt or shame. It's also strange how some people (novel readers) defend klopp in this timeline saying he had suffered enough? Like what?? This isn't even half close to what Aeroc went through. and even if we acknowledge his misery now it's still self induced! He is making his own life harder because he can't let go of his lust for Aeroc, not because Aeroc or anyone put him through any hardships... how is that even comparable to Aeroc's pain in the past? How am I supposed to laugh at their "cute banter" now or want them to get together in the end when klopp just refuse to be a decent human being every freaking time.

Well, in conclusion, I respect the first timeline/first season because of its tragedy, it was a very good heartbreaking read, loved the angst.. but the other parts are just underwhelming imo.
