Of course you can't find any hateful thing to her at that chapter since you didn't know she tried to manipulate things. But really I already saw that she wanted Ophelia to feel indebted since she saved her from that old guy. Also she is an old maid in that house I felt like she was also the reason why some maids doesn't want to serve her so she can use her feelings when she is down and act nice.
