I guess Ein feels that Diesel is vulnerable whilst a husky, and that he has lost him. Diesel says a few times that he protects Ein whilst he is in his human form. Both characters are cautious, but Diesel still has a longing to connect with other werewolves. Speculation that Ein and Diesel were seeing each other in some way, the wolf that died either attacked Diesel or Ein and Ein fought him off, and the wolf was killed This altercation may have alerted the group to the authorities hence having to flee and keep a low profile. It might also mean that Ein associated Diesel turning into a wolf as losing him, and the wolf Diesel is at risk whereas the man is his equal and his defender.

I remember that part! but Ein always try to find the way to protect diesel, but diesel something looks like he is pissed it off... Idk I think ein love diesel, but i not sure about diesel.

Diesel once told Bexan that he might confuse the feelings he has for Ein with love while it might be loyalty of a canine being for his owner:? I think that’s because of the fact Ein killed his ex-lover so Diesel thinks he’s not suppose to grow feelings like love for Ein. Guess we have to dig in their past to answer the question, which starts from chapter 39 as what I saw from the raw:?
