I’m sorry for any translation misunderstandings! In chinese, the word for adoption is ‘领养’, but it doesn’t mean the person adopting the child would become their ‘parent’. They just become their legal guardian. In this case, Muhan is adopting Que Lei, but he doesn’t become his ‘father’. Hope this makes a little more sense ^^

(highly doubt that because he already seems like a big shot in the industry and no matter how powerful or knowledgeable you are, there's no way big decisions like cast and stuff are left up to a fresh 18 year old ;A; as regretful as that is hhhhhh bc the age gap is making me worried too lol)

ahhhhh the tags DID say psychological/drama tho so so so? maybe it's one of those fucked n shit stories TT shdsldfk i don't get the fascination with "forbidden romances" between people with familial ties and age gaps..? (talking about minors x adults, students x teachers, adopted children x their guardian, incest etc.) like count the amount of stories u read that had one of those tropes, it kinda worries me

Ahh...so about his age, I’m not sure, because the author hasn’t mentioned it in any chapters yet....(although I heard this was adapted from a novel??) But anyhow, I think the Mr. is well into his twenties when he adopted Que Lei T-T I’m a little uncomfortable about the age gap as well tbh,,,, and the fact that he doesn’t age at all makes it even weirder I’m not so sure about the tags, though. The original uploader chose them but considering that the raws only go up to chapter seven, I doubt there is any actual dark stuff like killing stalking :/
