That super powerful alien (that Mori has the mark of on his cape) or one of its close underlings fell in love and somehow had a child with a human. Something happened to the human partner so after they found Mori in that basement they decided a human orphanage would be better for him to grow up in since he's more human-like than alien. But when he disappeared they obvi went looking for him. I think the one we saw recently wasn't the parent though, just works for the parent.
I have a bad feeling the human parent might be dead. If that's the case, I hope Rider becomes Mori's other adoptive parent.
I was so disappointed because I thought they were gonna just casually kill off Guido right in the beginning. The man is so fine and for what? But we get to keep him as a cute chibi for now, so I guess I can forgive that. I better see the full man again at some point though.
I dunno, I was really icked out by the ML the whole time anyway, but when FL mentioned that getting pregnant could ruin her dream of going to medical school, he was just like "Nope, I'm still getting you pregnant", just ew. And I know they tried to breeze past it in the end, but she still had to put off school and her dream because they had a kid. They just kind of tacked on her saying "I'm graduating soon", but like, Miss Ma'am, you've already been demoted to being an incubator now. This is clearly the type of guy who will make sure you STAY pregnant so you can't have a life/job. Icky icky ew gross bye

Sometimes these flop on the comedy part but this one is actually pretty good at it. I loved the 70's shoujo bit at the end of ch 12 lmao. Also, the ML has an actual personality! I like the fact that they squabble, especially because it seems innocent enough. They have the emotional intelligence to tone it down when they're talking about something serious, so I see no harm in it. It's the whole "They fight like an old married couple" trope lol

But I think it would've been more interesting if they had more chapters to play around with the idea. Like, beastmen face discrimination in most cases, so seeing Aleksei deal with that, along with the confusion/fear of turning into a human when he didn't even know he WAS a beastman, would've been a good way to add some angst. We also didn't get to see any battles with both leads after he turned human. I think seeing their chemistry on the battlefield after they became a couple would've been cool. It just felt too short and not fleshed out very well.
I love how Lucid is slowly joining in on Luda's dorky antics (even if it is against his will). Also, Delta is beyond cute!!
Penelope mentioned Eclis' heart being a muddy/shady color. I have a feeling that a 100% on a darkened heart means a bad ending, as in the character hit max hatred for her. Idk, I'm just getting bad vibes. I don't think this will be one of those "it was just a misunderstanding" moments.
