I know I’m really hoping that he just decided to turn around and talk to him. That would be such a good move on Yajima’s part for both of them. I feel like it would help Torikai overcome his past and anxieties and it would fit Yajima’s character imo

So , the mc is falsely accused for graping and killing child, so he wants to kill himself. At last moment of this process, the near church's priest stops him and mc confesses his story , then priest proposes to find a way to his good path . The later on priest confesses that he developed feelings for him and the mc ,for whom priest is the only source of light, end ups doing it with him(he gaslights himself into it as priest is the only one who believed him). On the next morning, mc found tag of the boy that was killed in his case in priest's drawer and priest confesses that it was him whom graped and killed boy. MC snaps and runs away , but returns telling priest that he forgives him and they end up dating. They do it everyday and priest tells his story. Priests father was a child molester ,that molested him , but when priest started growing, father doesn't do it with him anymore and priest think that father doesn't love him anymore (there's a decently detailed scene of thet , that I HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND TO READ ). Later priest see father with the little boy ,so he does thing that thing mc was accused of doing. The story of priest was overheard by a girl that wanted to give letter for priest and she end up telling adults. Adults start to panic and thinking about calling a police, so priest proposes to mc to run away (tha last chapter for the moment being).
This manga is psychological and very sick at moments , so if you're not into that ,pls be careful while reading or don't reaf at all.
