Its very refreshing reading about an uke who isnt overly shy or nervous about sex. He wants it and is very straightforward about it and very accepting. It really annoying when they keep saying "no, dont" every five seconds when they really actually want it. like, im sure the seme's feel like rapists at that point. Be straightforward with what you want. I can understand being embarrassed but dont be a liar smh.

It's because of the asian culture of humility during sex. It's a cultural turn off for man or woman to beg as it seems only lustful, and not communicable

    hannah11223 May 1, 2017 6:11 am

very odd. This doesnt seem to apply to the seme though?? unfair lol

    Gorgo May 2, 2017 2:56 am

To be fair, it's a complete turn on to have a partner that knows what they're doing during sex.

hannah11223 April 24, 2017 8:47 pm

ahhh its nice finally reading a manga where the girl and step dad actually have a parental relationship.

ya i was partly scared they would start dating

Yeah this was refreshing and something i was looking for, for a long time

holy cow! a yaoi manga with morals?!?! I have been searching for so long. I love yaoi, but the rape, shotacon, verbal abuse, and incest has really been dragging me down mentally because its in 99.9% of all yaoi mangas and in real life i hate that type of stuff. Also, Im soooo happy to see a uke who can hide his feelings. Im so tired of seeing uke's and female leads in shoujo manga being so glaringly obvious and embarrassing in their show of feelings. In reality, people can hide their feelings much easier than that so its always been a peeve of mine. recommend any yaoi with morals if you know any, please and thank you.

I completly agree, reading this and it's prequel/side story was refreshing. And I agree even more with the hidings his feelings part, I think that annoyed me most with manga and anime. Because I swear when I had crushes I could hide it, occuasinally I might blush and unintentionally stare at them, but I could keep it a secret well enough that it wasn't too obvious, even got so good thst it appeared I had no crush. So I rather like this story, one of my favourites!

    exactly! im the same haha

    ifpigscouldfly24 July 2, 2017 12:54 pm

Exactly!!! This is exactly what I'm looking for. Another good thing is that Yuuto did not fool around with others to get rid of his feelings for Ryuu (though I can't say the same for Ryuu). This is actually a nice manga. I'm very satisfied.

Well you can read "tadaima, okaeri" that touch a little the prejudice theme in a omegaverse world but the main characters are veeeery sweet (●'◡'●)ノ

I had been holding off on reading this manga for so long cuz it doesnt look very special on the outside. But i was soooo surprised by how good this was. It was funny and interesting. And best of all, FINALLY a female lead who isnt love-obsessed, embarrassed 24/7, ridiculously shy, and annoying when it comes to guys. I love female leads like this! She was very similar to the lead from Beauty Pop if anyone wants a comparison. Only downfall was the rushed ending. But even that was nice to me. (feel free to recommend me any mangas with cool-headed female leads please. Its my favorite type).

thnx. i was contemplating dropping this from my to-read list but base on your discription of the female lead i am going to give it a shot. here is a list of manga i give 5 stars with strong female leads that are not annoying and goes gaga over boys (hope you enjoy them as much as i did): Kare kano, The one, Koi dano Ai dano, Gokusen, Basara, Dance! Subaru, Kodomo No Omocha, Romance Papa (Manhwa), Miriam, Ashita No Ousama, W-juliet, Cat Street, Kanojo Ni Naru Hi, Wedding, Wedding Season 2, Red River

One of the most selfish Seme's i've ever seen. First he raped the boy - and yes it was rape. He told him to stop and that it really hurt, but the seme just kept pleasuring only himself. then said that he refused to apologize?! Then ran away cuz he knew he did something wrong. And he said that it was cuz he seduced him... does that not scream Rapist Excuse?!! And dont try to give me crap about failed first time. A failed first time would be that it hurt too much so they stopped. The seme acted like a freaking animal with no self-control. DO NOT let yaoi mangas let u believe that males cannot control themselves once they started. that is completely false. I love yaoi, but i dont let it delude me or make excuses for crap like this. Second, he only cared about his own feelings in my opinion. Even though the bottom aint want nothing to do with him, he said he didnt care. The uke's change of heart at the end was unrealistic or some sort of stolkholm syndrome type crap. Love this author tho, but rape scenes are a no go for me.

    annabis June 3, 2017 1:56 pm

Yes. Its sad but it seems that it already needed to be remarked that FAILED FIRST is not a excuse for rape and that men CAN CONTROL themselves once they have started. Really Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

I really recommend this manga. Trust me on this. I had this on my to-read list for the longest and finally decided to give it a shot and it was amazing. The pace is good and the characters are awesome! Even though its not labeled romance, there is romance in here. This manga touches on a lot of your emotions. The art is pretty too. You wont regret reading. Great manga, great story, great ending. Give it a shot

hannah11223 August 17, 2016 5:16 am

one of the worst mangas ive ever read. i would have never NEVER forgiven this dude. is something wrong with his brain?? what made him think any of that was a good idea???

hannah11223 July 19, 2015 8:40 am

somehow the author made me not hate any of the characters. which i guess is the point of the entire story, since the point of sahara telling those stories was to create empathy. i was dead set on wanting the brother and that woman to die a miserable death, but once i saw there side of the story, my anger kinda diminished. i dont feel bad about their deaths in the end but im not angry anymore. i even want to hate the older brother sultan, but i cant cuz his romance with sahara is awesome. pretty much 90% of all the characters in this book were bad people but their back stories made you want to sympathize. ahhh!!! this was so wonderfully written!!!!!! purely genius

hannah11223 July 16, 2015 1:54 am

My top Yaoi manga!

hannah11223 July 3, 2015 8:26 am

.... this story was really cute and i liked the art but... am i the only one who had trouble following along sometimes? it was almost like some pages were missing. and most of the scenes just had way too much going on, so it got confusing.
