People are so dumb, they showered a few chapters ago and there are bathrooms everywhere in that school, the author isn’t going to show you every single time they wash up even if it’s just with only water
There's still zombies crawling about around the communal showers so I doubt they'd have the time to be frolicking around there. But yeah there should be washrooms all over campus, so at least they'd get access to some soap and water, even if it didn't do much.
