Here’s the reason... he keep lying. IF HE DIDNT LIE IN THE BEGINNING AND OR COMMUNICATED THIS WHOLE SITUATION WOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED.
If he would have told the uke the truth instead of lying and saying the bf was dead while he was trapped on the ground and would have told the uke about the link.
Or would have at least helped the link with some of the pain. This would have ended different (like at least suck this mans blood.)
And y’all saying the link was trying to kill the uke by sending all the vampires where he was at

On the other hand with Nakyum and Suengho its like walking through the Sahara without a glass of water, it’s almost painful to see them interact with each other. Have you ever saw them have a conversation?
I’m going to be realer than real here this story was Flame season one and early season 2 but now it’s just the same story line.
But like ive been saying mans is never changing and if he does your girl will be shocked.
Cause girl this man hasn’t changed from day one std dick is still beating up on people and not listening because he has daddy issues.
And when I told y’all they weren’t in love and this isn’t love I was bashed for saying it but imma say it still.
This isn’t love maybe S was in love but N didn’t love him he was looking for someone to replace his teacher.
Other than that n is an empty shell of his self just trying to hide the pain of someone walking out of his life.
And I mean the only thing that changed about S is, the art style sis.
Personally to me when i saw n and S my stomach twisted I felt like it was wrong cause both party didn’t have that connection, the storyline in is this meant for the not to be f buddies but lovers.

and personally they don’t have the relationship to do so and i feel like the characters are very watered down from there season one self.

I kinda agree, S's past is really sad but you can't expect someone like him (a traumatised man with zero empathy, moreover a nobleman) to suddenly become a better person just because "he's in love <3". If anything, I think these feelings make him weaker and thus more violent if he feels betrayed (i don't know if it makes sense). N still doesn't love S, he's probably just confused and a bit flattered, but nothing more than this. That being said, I really hope, firstly, for S to become a bit more stable and then I hope real love will blossom for the two of them.

I also have an issue with the whole back and forth with the character development which is why I understand what your saying and agree
One moment we think yay S is coming to his senses and maybe not immediately but surely he’s beginning to open up and show us that soft side and then boom he shuts down...kinda makes it frustrating and all the more real cause in the teal world people with insecurities and trauma always seem to have that one character development and then shut down when they’re nipped at or faced with anything that reminds them of their trauma

That’s my problem two it feels like the both of them have no character development and how is S going to get help. He’s not going to get help there going to show N helping him overcome everything and personally that dangerous for n and s or anybody who attempts that.
I know he’s traumatized but S won’t be able to get help cause around that time therapy/pills weren’t accessible. I really think there going to make N deal with S trauma to help him. Which is dangerous for anyone to try.
This is also true. If this were real life, there would be so solution to S's problems unless he seeks professional help (that didn't exist at that time). But this is a comic, so I guess that with time and patience maybe he'll become a more decent person (at least with N). I think this story is either some sort of tragedy (so S will stay 100% S and N will have to leave him/run away etc.) or the typical manhwa where dude is really bad and traumatised but by the end of the story he'll find his way to salvation. But that depends on the author. To be honest, some times I think this story has such a huge potential but the author doesn't deal with it that well. I'm not saying it's badly written, simply that from time to time I really wonder where the plot is going or if we'll see any kind of development.
This I totally disagree with...there’s a difference between helping someone out of their trauma by showing them how they can be capable of love and making yourself someone’s emotional anchor
For me personally I think N is gonna help S see that he can love and be loved not out of fear or hate but just pure love and in turn S would by himself overcome his trauma with N by his side cheering him and saying hwaiting and also make it up to N by showing that he isn’t useless like his teacher said to him and he is someone worthy of love
(It’s like the story from Palace of Bardo you’ll see I like how this story is paced and you see the development I feel it will be the same here)

Really you’ll love it the art style may not be the best and like it’s like blerghhh compared to POTN but the story is so good and a bit worrisome at some point but still very worth the read
