The script, phasing and plot are done professionally. It's evident when the creator is working with a team instead of just working alone.
But the synopsis is lacking when you really analyze it. They put all the drama to the side couple and left nothing for the main.
Kind of like those low budget kdrama they broadcast during morning.
Brilliant synopsis but its phasing is TOO FAST.
It delivered but it leaves so much room for more drama or better plot development and script.
The art is interesting, we can see that the creator is trying hard to differentiate his art from the generic design manhwas have. but kind of more or less failed and there are still some inconsistencies especially with Hosu but the art is still nice and Minhwu looks so cute despite not being a uniqure character design.

Man, I want Jung Jaehan to go to jail. Definitely not a likeable MC.
But it's kind of refreshing to see an immoral kind of MC when everything nowadays are generic.
There's so much to do with the plot but I find it weird that its solely focused on Jaehan's romantic confusion which is obviously not enough. This work is Lackluster.
They have this unique style of art and actually have colors and identity.
Formats are also done well.
Now, 98% of BL Manhwas all have this generic character designs and artists are TOO reliant in 3D shits.
What I also love about this work is how perfectly long it is. It's just 30+ chapters yet it gets the job done.
Many creators nowadays will abruptly rush their work or will extend every chapter and panels as unnecessary as possible.
The Author balancing the story between heavy drama then in between he would squeeze in a comedy script.
Not sure what to feel about that when the situation is soo deep.
The Length and flow are perfect for a Webtoon. Not unnecessary long like most webtoons are but also not too short, while the plot is straight forward, it felt a little lacking from small details.
And the ending was anticlimactic! Yeah they live happily ever after but it could've been much better!
They could've used Do Hyun's hatred towards Heesung for a better ending phase or extend the chapters where Jaeyeon kept rejecting Hessung for more drama.
It's good but there's an imbalance with the MC and the plot. It's about gambling yeah but there are times where it's all about cards cards & cards which I find boring and is overshadowing the story and the MC.
The scripts are not that well thought too as each panels has the MC basically narrating everything. too much actually.
There isn't much special but the writing was professionally done which is rare for BL Manhwas and thats why I think people loved this.
Everything is so vague and each characters are full of flaws. The Mystery genre was done awfully.
This would've been a great manhwa if they bother hiring a team of proofreader and a proper scriptwriter. smh.

This is truly horrid writing overall as if they did not take anything else into consideration when writing this except the script of the characters.
they have been publishing hundreds of BL Manhwas written like shits for years now without a miss then a brilliant work such as this are put on hiatus for how long now?
this BL can even compete with high cost animes in terms of story, world building and characters.
and don't get me started with the writing and the art. The comedy and the seriousness of the plot are well balanced. The foods alone are drawn not some 3D shits which is quite rare for manhwas.
