CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of Non Zero Sum

In fiction, I don't care how awful or evil the character is, just make sure that character is penalized at the end.

But that doesn't seem to be the case here, everything is just too much, if the writer would just let those three get away without suffering then it's evident what kind of human being the writer is.

The only ending that I can see that would truly put the readers at ease are either those three wound up in jail or the MC kiIIs himself for those three to realize what they've done and for him to be free as well.

My Diamond Star was a disappointment and this was dropped?

wheres my nice idol x fan BL???

CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of My Diamond Star

It has one of the nicest and smoothest build up and just to end like that?

it's screaming fan-service queerbating with internal homophobia from the creator and probably their publisher

I demand Volume 2 where they will kiss

CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of Ghost of Paradise

The twisted plot, synopsis and it's execution are flawless and AMAZING.

but let's talk how the creator perfectly did the ART, The characters are what you'd expect from koreans but the way they made the environment impressed me, he used both 3D renderings and hand-drawn objects for the environment and they did a great job blending those flawlessly.

CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of Raising a Bat

It may be basic and not colorful but IT IS certainly better than the general BL Manhwa Art these days where artists are heavily relying on renderings instead of hand drawing.

even the car, it may be traced but it is way better looking that 3D cars being used by almost all manhwas nowadays.

It is also consistent as the characters have the same art style for their environment compare to other manhwas where they only draw the characters and basically use 3D renderings for the whole environment. Though, slight notably; the art on this manhwa is actually regressing.

the early days of BL manhwas certainly has better approach in art, even the latest work of this creator is pure 3D generic looking.

I'm quite satisfied actually, the moment it was revealed that Doah's been throwing rocks at the dog, he's a person deserving of punishment.

What he did to Junseo was absolute vile , with that kind of personality; it's likely that he have also done more shits in the past.

He reaped what he sow but the slut he is, he probably doesn't even think of it as punishment.

Unsatisfying read caused by annoying characters. The only major character I can't really hate is Jiyung.

The way Jitae reacted in the cafe felt weird. He was already mad, but then the sister tells him something even worse, so I don't get why you would felt sympathy instead when Jitae's character is not like that.

that last scene in the cafe is an outright evidence of poor decision making and desperation on the Creator's side.

CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of Safe Partner

this right here is the peak of clichéness im crying

the plot of having a bethroned lover was great but everything is just so cliché, I don't know what to review

CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of The Abyss

THEY DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO DRAW A PROPER SHOES (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻

ju- just look at that monstrosity, this is an insult for the comic community as a whole!

the chapters are already short so we can at least expect more effort in the art right

uhh

really wanted to like this coz of the plot but the writing feels immaturish..

the dialogue feels really off. while the character design is good the art in general is flawed with a bunch of 3D objects being inconsistently used. The characters literal action are sometimes illustrated weird too, they look like some stiff mannequin at some panels.

Anyway we're only at 20sh chapter and theres so much room for improvement so let's hope for that.

CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of Beyond Memories

Obviously there are two.

I wish to see the full First Time Line because thats the shit!

You want sadness, misunderstanding, betrayal, tragedy, angst and trigger warning contents etc. it all seem to happen in the First Time Line.

God I wish the author would show it to us fully and not just some flashbacks

CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of 99.99% Lovers

whatever software these BL Creator's been using they should've switch or at least be more creative. I only got back to reading Manhwas for merely recently and I've got to say, that fvcking 3D skycraper is so overused like.

anyway okay to cringey read, it's an easy to swallow BL Manhwa perfect for shallow readers.

CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of Macguffin

that mother surely is not mothering.

Abandoned his family, put his son into a mental institute with an specific order not to treat him properly...

I'm surprised the MC & ML aren't that angry with her, that woman deserves a public humiliation at the very least and a complete restraining order with the MC.

the ML's a lil bit annoying too, his pride lead the uke to harm himself, if he just say 'I love you' and explain the situation honestly in the first place, the uke wouldn't have to suffer that much.

it's my first BL manhwa where I hate the MC more than the ML or at least dislike

I really really felt bad for the MC, his suffering is unmatched but deep in my brain is saying that half of all those things are because of his pride. All the ML wanted was to genuinely love him and tbh his words might hurt the MC's pride but he also know he didn't mean those ffs.

anyway this is a very well thought and written one! so yeah 8/10

CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of Bye Bye

the MC's naivety that lead to misunderstanding actually made some sense but the author failed to execute the MC's circumstances and his emotions correctly in the story which resulted to poor projection of the events or what's happening.

The MC's background actually is sad and the ML is his 'salvation' or at least would be the key for his mental improvement but then again due to poor execution, the story's main direction became unclear or ambiguous.

the author can't seem to decide which genre the story's direction would be. So in the end it resulted to it being tedious or flat.

some scenes are also cringey. Are they serious with 'kongkong' that's actually quite annoying, i imagine the author writing this while laughing and not taking the story seriously. I would get it if the whole thing was a unserious comedy but no.

kongkong nickname could slso be temporary until it is born but if that's really the case it's another outright evidence of poor writing, because it's so unclear.

An explosion of mixed feelings for all the characters. We have Anger and Sympathy for the both of them. The MC ultimately paid the price at the end which I guess could count as ML's Karma for all his cruelty.

but I guess most manhwa reader's are not ready for a tragic end, so now they proceed to show the ML's POV.

Interesting, nonetheless. Curious what's next or if there's any difference.

CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of Someone Like You

im sorry unrelated to the story but that chair looks hideous

this is not a matter of liking or hating anymore the ML's already a psycho.

it's not about defending the ML or liking him. it's like hating on Patrick bateman as a character because he's a psycho.

Jennie has the best portrayal of mental regression overtime, her story despite a tragic one, is written realistically. It actually has a potential to be a standalone plot for a movie.

Though I must admit I'm very satisfied with the ML, I mean he got to beat all the shitty minor characters no? he's basically a satisfying trash of a character.

CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of Yours to Claim
mid

mid art which heavily relied on overblown 3D rendering from backgrounds to even as small as credit card...

mid characters. The MC's not a saint nor he got any ill intent. Yahwi's a trash. Cain's real name is Canis Lupus... like wtf fr?

the story's execution was weird. there's a lot of illogical responses from the characters. one example was when Jooin think that Cain having a 'plan' to get him was bad.

anyway, dropped.

CREDIBLE CRITIC created a topic of Waterside Night

im surprised this isn't genred as comedy. this legit made me laugh a little from time to time.

even funnier than BLs with Comedy genre on them.

the phasing was flawless and from the romance, angst, action, comedy everything was balanced. they even managed to squeeze the issue of parenting finely.

the art was slightly above average I think as they do not entirely rely on 3D renderings like most of manhwas.

now let's just wait for that garbage of a father to get whacked.
