Such a shitty ending. Happiness saves the world even if most of the world is shit because blah blah blah.
Chrome was annoying, and I didn't see or really feel any romantic connection between Lucifella and him. It felt one sided af. George the 4th has more romance and was much more appreciative, because we actually got an insight into how he felt, unlike Chrome. All Chrome gave was brooding, grumpy, "I love her the most and I've loved her for longer" spiel.
Also, he was prettier with his long hair. what a downgrade.
Lots of plot holes or lack of information surrounding the Pope, The war between the Witch and The church, The Emperor and Jack, and the Sins.
I'm guessing the novel is much better and didn't translate well, or it's just a cliche story with plot holes too.

The start was promising, but the pacing sycked and the ending rushed into a forced happy ending. It would have been much better had story focused on Lucifella and her past incarnations, and her moral dilemma she had with finding happiness and good in the church and the world. The Goddess shit was for real pulled out of someone's ass though like wtf.

so yeah

take that as you may, but u only reckoned reading for rhe pretty art, AFTER the child arc

poor babies... every single one of em... all the Revengers from the first great dungeon, all the current awakened...


This story has done an incredible job of creating very human characters. They aren't just black and white, bad or good. My heart broke when Alec was talking about his sister, and the look on his face when Chaeyoon said her name without prompt. It was so filled with just, emotion. That just says how well of a job the artist has done of portraying the characters. I could go on honestly, but this is just really an incredible story.

as pretty as the new artstyle is, I think it completely ruined Emilia's appeal/image. She was originally much more calm and indifferent, and also (in my opinion) prettier and more elegant. The new art style makes her more of an open book, and immature. She's more smiley and lost her sombre tones. It's a bit of a shame, but ah well. (￣∇￣")
