I'm kinda disappointed because when I saw Kaoru Kurimoto I was expecting a lot since she worked with Yumiko Igarashi on The Sword of Paros (a lgbtq+ fantasy story dear to my heart) so I was thinking this story would be nice. But I felt uncomfortable all along. It's okay to feel this way from time to time, because it still means the story has an effect one me. But I didn't like this one. It's bitter.
As a big fan of Innocent and Innocent Rouge by Shin'ichi Sakamoto (I think you can tell by my profile pic), I was so happy to read this BL ! I love how the author used the omegaverse to show the class struggle and the fight for equality without taking care of the genre of an individual. I think omegaverses in general denounced a lot of things in our society like the violence against a genre (aren't omegas' heats close to women periods or is it just me ?), the closed eyes on rape from justice, the difficulties to have a place in society because of your genre, etc. It also says a lot about LGBT parenting and the changes in the family model.
I can feel how much they feel for each other just looking at their gazes and at the way they embrace each other. I'm gonna say it at every updates, but this mangaka definitely knows how to convey her character's feelings to the reader !
