I think it's a shame how the manhua tells the story of ISSTH. The manhua feels more like a summary - not going into depth, just illustrating the key events. Honestly, if I never read the novel before reading the manhua, I'd feel absolutely confused about the cultivation terms, logic, and sequence of events. They skipped over a lot of information.
People, don't hate on Remi. He's a really nice guy. His story is actually my favorite out of the three couples.

Without Reservations is Chay and Bit's story. With Caution is Remi's story. With Abandon is Bit's older brother's story.
The only thing that bothered me was Youmei's robotic face as he was doing Hizuru. It was nice having the two finally get together, but I would really like some excitement or at least a slight reaction on Youmei's face.
Well he is kind of scarred from his earlier sexual experiences so the fact that he was willing to do it at all was an improvement. I think he'll get more emotions over time. You can't get over emotional damage right away.
Agreed. Youmei has some issues to overcome, but he is headed in a positive direction, and I'm happy for him. He has a great smile, btw.
The novel ended last year but had been ongoing for a number of years. It's nice to read this manhua. It brings back memories. The novel is WAY too long to re-read.
ye i read the full thing it took me a year. loved it so much one of the first novel i read got me hooked on novels.
I actually like Masato x Hotaka more than Chika x Hotaka. First off, Masato has been in love with Hotaka for almost as long as Chika. Masato kept his feelings a secret, not hurting Hotaka in the process. Secondly, Chika advanced onto Hotaka, claiming a temporary relationship, took his... chrysantemum virginity, and then threw him away just to force Hotaka to realize his feelings.
Now out of these two semes, which one is more heartless? To me, Chika is the more heartless and the more selfish one.
Now that Masato is divorced, and he knows Hotaka can be in a homosexual relationship, it's now apparent to him that he can be with Hotaka. You only learn to treasure things once you lose them. This manga is a very good example of that.

This web comic is so similar to the novel Kill The Lights. I'm so happy I decided to read this.
This webtoon completely threw me off. With how much snu-snu they did (almost very chapter) and their contractual relationship, it had the potential to be a very toxic relationship. To my pleasure and to many others, they were completely open to falling in love with each other and unafraid to acknowledge it themselves. They grew to care and love each other, wanting to build a life together. Despite the extreme amount of intimate scenes, it was a very fluffy and I am happy I randomly read this.
