I really liked it though:) very well written. I usually find old timey stories a bore but this one was unique. Didn't even feel like i was reading a story set in the 70s . I'll check out the author's other manga that links to this one!
You should read the other story the author read, about rumspringa. It's just as wholesome, with theo (from Gene's village) and Danny (the black haired kid gene bumped into). It was completed awhile ago, and its really beautiful.

Btw for those who are wondering, Minami used to be an upperclassman. When Akemi and Itome were freshman, Minami and Akisawa (the one who runs the hot spring) were their seniors ! They were all a part of the photography club and the manga has alluded to a past between Akemi and Minami. From what I've picked up on, Akemi is still very much hung up on Minami and is only with Itome to temporarily fill up that empty space yk. Itome though, holds actual feelings towards Akemi and is set on one day having him all to himself (that's why it upsets him when they have to have sex with others). Akemi obviously becomes upset after hearing the news that Minami now has a wife and kid... I wonder what'll happen now. Btw ! Some additional info if you guys don't already know or happened to have forgot, but yeah the chaperone teacher and Akisawa have a past of their own. They had dated back when Akisawa was still a student which is why the chaperone guy always goes along w the club's craziness and doesn't snitch on them it's cause they could blackmail him with that info (the fact that he dated a student as a teacher).

Because i thought that yes, Akemi is still upset because of Minami but in Chapter 12 (I think) it seems like Itome is also important to him... But yeah, maybe it's just wishful thinking
I was wondering about that too. But in chapter 13 Akemi tells Toono to try dating Kashima even though he doesn’t like him because they might fall in love eventually. Toono says that isn’t right and will hurt the other person who actually has feelings. Akemi seems surprised by that, so maybe that is why Akemi started dating Itome?
