I'm proud of kazuha, he never force himself towards yuuma eventho it hurts so much when someone you thought will accept you as a part of person reject you and on top of that when you were doing it, I kinda wanna slap yuuma tho for acting so kind to accept all of his parts but actually just care about rei haha how can you hurt him that much.. You can love rei but at least dont reject the other existence in front of him, can you? You tease him first so then it lead you two to doing that and you reject him, you can chose to not doing it in the first place. Im sorry pls dont be mad at me, this is just how I feel, im pretty sad and so sorry for kazuma...
Nooo its not him! Please believe your hubby!
it was him though. hubby got fooled into thinking he could help the emperor the most if he went back to his own country & fixed their political/economic/military (just fulfiling his duty as Prince of said country). The bad guys lied & said they knew how to get Hubby back to his country in order to do all that & instead they set him up with the current situation--the "rebellion" thing that ended in flaming disaster [considering only one of their enemies (from the bad guy's POV) died & it wasn't even the SOLE TARGET of the mission].
So Hubby was gonna ditch Emperor without saying anything because he one-sidedly thought it was the best solution, got tricked into being involved with THIS and almost lost his precious emperor. hubby did wrong. hubby did VERY wrong. with an accidental, near-death fuck-up like that....bad hubby. #-.-)
The novel is a bit different. ML didn't know about the rebellion. He only knew that he will meet with his uncle (general Xue) to go home to south kingdom. MC knew about the rebellion because of the original book storyline. He also knew that ML had plan to escape to the south.
In the novel ML hid that letter under his bed in a hidden compartment. MC secretly took that letter to protect ML. When general Li looked for that letter in ML's room, ML was suprised that the letter is no longer there. But even tho there is no proof (letter not found) ML still got captured by general Li Wuding to be tortured/interrogated. MC helped ML escape to the south. MC freed ML from prison, treated his injuries, then put him in a carriage with instruction to go to the rendesvous point where general Xue await.
After that angst angst angst. At first MC just wanna save hinself but after Hong Xiu's death MC started to think about protecting northerner people. Honestly he became a great emperor.
Unfortunately.. ML is destined to be the enperor that unify the kingdoms.
Disasters keeps happenings and in the end south kingdom conquered the north. MC surrendered himself in exchange for the safety of northern people. Also MC personally asked ML to save MC's sister (princess ning).
ML covertly went to the north palace to save princess ning but he met prinvess general of west kingdom who is in the middle of saving princess ning. ML lets them escape.
Remember the ex-imperial bodyguard? He saved MC. They rendesvous with the two princesses and escape. The two princesses went to west kingdom (they ended up married at west kingdom). MC went to a secluded village. MC formed good relaationships with the villagers and live peaceful life as a apprentice herbalist/doctor.
Meanwhile ML lead battles, conquer kingdoms.. on the way to fulfil his destiny as the emperor who unify the land.
When MC gathered plant medicine on the mountain he found injured MC. ML saved MC and nurse him to jealth.. they life together at the village for sometime. ML confessed his feeling to MC.. MC reject ML at first but slowly falls for ML.
ML took MC to ML's kingdom as army doctor (MC was in disguise only ML knew that MC was ex north emperor).
One day ML went to battle and didn't comeback. He fell from a cliff in battle, his soldiers thought he's dead but they can't find his body.
MC and a trusted high ranked soldier went to search for ML. They found ML and saved him. They made it back but while ML is recuperating one of the general found out MC's identity.
Again MC was taken as prisoner of war. Some northerner formed insurgent/rebel force. They covertly infiltrate the palace to save MC. They want MC to lead rebellion against south kingdom.
The attempt failed, genetal Xue found them.. they fight lots of northerner revel died. MC felt guilty also he didn't want to lead the rebellion. MC choose to die in exchange.. he asked gen Xue to pardon the remaining northetners.
Three years after that MC transmigrated for a second time in the body of a west kingdom prince named prince Xiao Yan (yes same name with his real self also the prince's face/physique resembled his real self - modern world self). He became ambassador of west kingdom who live in ML's palace. Hong Xiu's lil sis served MC now. ML have became ruthless, cold emperor.
This time MC have to pursue ML and convinced him that he is the same Xiao Yan. After ML is convinced they become lovey dovey. A general is plotting coup d'etat tryna to kill MC and general Xue which are loyal to ML. But this time MC work together with gen Xue and able to trap the evil general and prevent coup d'etat.
Aside from dealing with that evil general ML is also pressured to take an empress. ML choose to marry MC and with that ML unify west kingdom with his kingdom.
Ok everyone rooting for rei, but if kazuha is the host, its unfair for him to let go and disappear, right? He owns the body after all. This chapter kinda get me a theory that (maybe) mika-sama is the real host since every alters calls him "sama" which is a respected suffix. But whoever the real host, please spare the host and let yuuma be with kazuha and rei, pretty please? :)
I like rei but kazuha is also very very good, both of them really loves yuuma and its unfair to only rooting for rei
