But I don't really feel bad for Hawks. Like he's gettin BEAT but he's most likely going to be fine. I even feel worse with the talk Tokoyami was giving him at the end. Cuz I feel like Twice deserved something like that more than Hawks does. But he didn't get the chance to get that.

Nah you trippen Hawks was raised to be a Hero assassin type. Twice definitely deserved a better life but its not Hawks fault he didn't have one. That's on Twice. All Hawks did was what had to be done to save everyone.
I can see Hawks still being a hero in the future, its possible he won't be flying anymore or having his feathers. I agree with him killing twice, even if he was a good man in the wrong place, it is what it is, he was a villain that needed to be stopped and the same should happen to shigaraki.
I'm not sure if Hawks wants to be a hero anymore anyways. Like he's been "forced" to do a lot of regrettable things and at this point it kind of feels like he's bitter about it? I don't know, he doesn't really seem to enjoy his job like he may have wanted to in the beginning. Actually he might not be allowed to be hero anymore...since he killed Twice. I'm sure some people in the hero world wouldn't approve of murder. Since it's kind of like the death sentence. Also they didn't kill All For One which I think most people would approve of but then why does someone like Twice deserve to die? ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Killing twice was his job as a secret double agent, idk if he will be banned or not from being a hero, he could be an undercover agent from now on OR if your theory is right, he could very much become a retired hero and be a teacher or something. I just hope this is not the last we see of him in the future
Mmm its hard to make a decision on who deserves to die or not. Twice was making things very hard for the heroes and he was mentally unstable (which makes it worse morally wether he deserved to die or not). Its not about him "deserving it", the decision had to be made right there, Hawks gave him plenty him of opportunities but he still took his choice.
I think he didn't have to kill Twice. He probably thought that way for his own sake. Being in a universe of quirks, I think there would be a lot of gadgets to assist with that. Hawks also should've have expected and planned for Twice's choice. I don't think anyone would've expected him to give in to Hawks.
(About him being a double agent I think at this point it would be very difficult for this event to be covered up. Cuz technically the citizens of Deika City are involved, and they could probably spread news about it. He also might have a mark on him as someone to look out for. I don't think his organization would find him very useful at this point since his cover has been blown. Maybe they'll send him overseas (￣∇￣"))
A lot of people live bad lives and that may or may not be their own faults...but it doesn't mean they don't have the chance to be changed. I think Twice made bad choices but I truly think he had a chance to be better. He cared for his friends and I think if he maybe found people that wanted to get him out of crime he would find himself in a great life. Hawks was taking advantage of him, he could feel that. Which is why I think he made the decision he did, at the end. And although he has a powerful quirk I don't think Hawks killing him would have saved everyone. This is a huge battle. Sure the hero's have the advantage but that doesn't change the fact that the League have very powerful members, not just Twice.
okay i didn't really mean everyone, nevertheless sparing Twice and risking his escape would have been the same as compromising many others Hero's lives. Most people who end up in a bad place doing bad things are not there because thats truly where they wanted to be. If you attempt to save everyone, you will lose everyone. Hawks knew that and did what he had to. I can understand not liking it, but you gotta be able to respect it.

I understand that with hero's they often find themselves in situations where they must weigh who matters the most. It's upsetting but he sacrificed Twice in order to save more people. I do still believe the decision Hawks made a bad one. But I know that it's a choice that can be defended. There were a number of unknown factors and surely Hawks felt pressure to make sure there are no losses no matter what.
but like this hasn't been updated in a while...it's kind of making me nervous. Is the author okay? Is it just not being translated? It's still on hiatus, right? I love this manga like its friggin gorgeous and I'm invested so I check back every once in a while. Does anyone know anything about it's status?
