Y'all this chapter! It's so good! Coming from America, y'all would think that we actually talk about this shit but we don't. Sure, we get some basic education but when it comes to girls you might as well not know anything. Schools just expect your parents to talk to you about this shit on their own. You never get a chance to understand anything about yourself. Even now, I think, wouldn't it be better to be a boy? So I can actually understand my body? We literally have to figure everything out on our own, and cuz we aren't taught how to be comfortable with these subjects...it's even harder to research it. It's feels extremely embarrassing to even google search a topic. So respect to the author and to my favorite ethics teacher for taking on this subject!
I feel you, in my country is a taboo as well.
In fact, since I didn't have a high sexual drive, alongside the fact that I did no know how female bodies worked regarding sexuality, I didn't know female masturbation was even a thing, it really took me reading about that in the door of a bathroom in college, there was a girl in the door asking "how do women masturbate?" and I was "uh? Is that a thing?" and another girl responded step by step how it's done, that night I proved it just to check, and I was "WOW! It works!"
I kinda wish they went a little deeper in to the uncle, but he's not the focus so I get that they only provide us with the necessary pieces to understand why he does what he does and why he is the way that he is. Even though I'm a hater I do think he is a really cool complex character that really adds to the story even if it does kind of drag attention away from the main characters. He brings some realism to the story and it's cool that his existence points out the very real (and sad) fact that sometimes queer people hurt queer people especially when they carry on the ideologies of a homophobic society.
he's actually the mc in a spin-off called Dekireba Ai o Tsuzuri ta if you're interested to check it out!!
Where can I read this?
