Nono ur fine~ I'm also 15 and I failed my recent maths test(￣∇￣") So I guess I'm not as good as maths as I thought I was. I'm also a weeb and like anime too, my family don't mind it coz I come from an Asian household.... But they don't know I like yaoi... I'll probably be disowned if they know(⊙…⊙ )

Academia is always difficult if you don't have the necessary foundation. If you didn't build up an understanding of math from an early year, highschool math may be difficult. I understand, I've been in some classes with 0 understanding of what's happening because I missed one prereq course. I don't think math is impossible for you, and I hope you don't have that negative outlook because it will harm you. Highschool math is not abstract. If you put in a few hours everyday for homework, or more if you need it, it'll be very possible to get marks in the 80s. Unless you're a genius though, it cannot be intuitive and will require effort. If you're not feeling up to it then you really don't have to do it though! Its your life at the end of the day

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. Everyone has things that they are good and bad at. Math is not the only subject and not everyone on the planet can be good at math. You have to find what your strengths are and work towards those. As far as having different interests like manga/anime that's not a bad thing. Being passionate about something is a good thing and its not even that unusual of an interest. Just look at how many people are on this website alone. Also I have never understood why we as human beings think so negatively about crying. Crying is a normal pain/stress response. Not something we should be ashamed of. If you really feel like it's something you have to stop doing. Think about other ways you can express your emotions besides crying. Do you like to draw? Draw a sad/angry picture when you're upset. Do you like to write? Write out everything that you are feeling, you can do this in a journal or if that doesn't feel safe write it down and then destroy the paper. The ultimate key to any part of life is to just forget what people tell you, you should think or do or feel and find what works best for you, because there's never been a you before and there never will again. Liking anime, manga& yaoi isnt something you should be ashamed of, at all. And if your family makes you feel bad about it, then clearly the issue is with them. You're very young, so you're just kinda figuring out your identity. Like what you like, what you can do, what you cant, what your limits are etcc, many many things you will start to understand and question as you age. Obviously education is important for your future, but don't let school make you feel worthless. Because the truth about people is that everyone has their goods and bads, they cant do this or that. But there's many others things only they can do. For example, just based on this post i can tell you're a very sensitive soul who is affected by many little things. Clearly you're aware of your inner mechanisms and how you feel and that's a very important asset. I think that type of personality is golden, people who are sensitive are kind and empathetic. I would only allow myself to be surrounded by people like that. Understanding yourself is only the beginning in discovering your gifts and limitations, so don't label yourself as dumb. In fact, you're a person that's full of potential.
