Honestly I don’t like how this story took turn, I really hoped that Joel would be like a father for Chase, not some policeman interested in hooking up with his son’s minor friend(╯°Д °)╯╧╧ really hope that the story will be back focusing on Jesse and Andy s cute story
Beautiful story, really loved it, pure love. But kinda feel that something s missing, want to see them succeed with the business they ve worked so hard in, and the retirement house, the dad issue. Really really want more please ╥﹏╥
somehow those things left hanging is what made this manga feel so realistic. you can spend your life chasing a dream and setbacks continually happen, along with disappointments. things dont always work out well with family, and we lose things that matter to us (like the house he lost). life is not for the weak and this story proves that. =)
When i started this story, i wanted to stop readying so many times coz it was too much but at the same time i wanted more. It made me feel all kinds of emotions. Don’t know if I should blame him for who he became or not. i just wished that his mom had suffered a more painful death than he did. and I kinda knew that they will all die at this end, but I just hoped that Sangwoo found out that Bum really loved him and didn’t think about killing him, he really wanted him to find out about the ring before dying ╥﹏╥
This is why I'm against execution and death penalty. Cause in some cases the murderer is just a byproduct of some fucked up parents. Mental correction needs to be put into action instead of execution.
Sangwoo needed to be confined in a mental hospital for so long. But the author had to kill him....ahhh ...it's so suffocating. The parents gave birth to sangwoo, fucked him up mentally, abused him, created a murderer out of him, turned his life upside down while it could have been a healthy life, and now there is no redemption for sangwoo??? Too sad. The more depressive part is no one knows the real truth about sangwoo's family and how his parents were murdered. Everyone blames him. Poor Bum can't even speak of how he felt for sangwoo in this world which misunderstood sangwoo so much.
would you really care about a killers mental health, and being spared the death penalty if one of the victims was a loved one?
Killing a murderer such as sangwoo will not solve the problem. It just conceals the problem for a short time. If they want to stop a murderer and future murderers such as sangwoo, then social authority must get involved in child abuse cases such as sangwoo's family and confinement in mental hospital need to be considered.
sometimes child abuse cases go silent. and by time word gets out it’s too late or they have already suffered from the trauma and abuse. are you seriously sitting here borderline trying to justify the actions of a psychopathic killer? some people are too far gone to receive treatment. if he were to be sent to a psychiatric hospital he would most likely rot in there too. there’s no way he deserves to be free after killing and basically raping victims. sounds horrible, but it’s the truth and the way reality works.
not to mention being in a psychiatric hospital doesn’t mean he’ll receive care. if he’s as far gone as he was on the story they would most likely dope him up on all different medications until he was basically a zombie. he could also completely resist treatment as a whole. if they ever let him out which is HIGHLY unlikely. he would most likely relapse in some way shape or form and revert back to killing again. violent psychopaths like him normally don’t get out. not to mention it seems like he was suffering from a psychotic disorder.
Was he a psychopath??? I mean it is shown in the manhwa that sangwoo was normal but he turned crazy after his mother deeds. Psychopaths are born and sociopaths are made just like sangwoo was made who he had become.
okay i do agree with you there. my mistake, you are right. psychopaths are born and sociopaths are created. it’s very unfortunate that his mother screwed him up like that but it doesn’t justify his actions at all. he made the choice to kill those innocent people. all actions have consequences.
But the author did a really good job of making readers sympathize with sangwoo...I'm just not satisfied with his death...I should feel better when a murderer has died but I feel so sad
