writing this on a whim and i just like to say, i know the story is not everyone's cup of tea. ive read the novel and it gives a lot introspect on the relationship between kloff and aeroc compared to how it's portrayed in the manhwa. you may call aeroc in this life stupid for giving in towards kloff but that's the way it is-- he's still stupidly inlove. you may hate kloff for what he did to aeroc but remember they're both flawed characters in the first place. aeroc bit the dust after causing rapiel's tragic death, kloff on the other hand sought the consequences of losing another person who ever loved him, so don't expect much from the both of them. it's not all just "oh they're in heat for the sake of the plot". the novel was much more slow burn compared to the manhwa. i love the art but the depiction of kloff irritates me with the way kloff blushes everytime aeroc's around in the panel. in the novel it was more of frustration and hiding his crush feelings, instead of openly blushing about it. of course i can never defend kloff for what he did but just saying my bit here, he may not deserve aeroc but aeroc definitely deserves to be with someone he loves who happens to be kloff.

"Clough" is actually an adopted French name. It's pronounced similar to the word "clove", but the "v" is soft, like an in between of an "f" and a "v". If anyone recalls, our dear antagonist alpha has the same namesake as Judge Clough Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dam. Who, btw, is the most psychologically, mentally and physically abusive villain in Disney history, in my opinion. Very fitting.
So anyone translating it to, or pronouncing "klopp" is kind of going out in a weird alternate universe. Lol
