The characters are great. I very much find it refreshing how they’re in college instead of high school. It makes it more relatable but I don’t like the childhood friend subplot. He could’ve easily been her older sibling protecting his sister from the media and nothing would change.
Also seeing that person make a camo was triggering for me. I tried not to read the manga and forget the artist were the same. Haha yeah I dont know if lll ever come back to this.

When he knelt down it was over with. The look on his face when he said he’d cook whatever she wanted? Deceased. I am.
But seriously? Friends with an ex? No. No. No. even if the dad wants to see her what happens when daddyo- is gone? Nah. I don’t like that plot. Just give me romance with our ML & FL ex’s can go now.

ML is focused on his future and the FL is focused solely on their relationship. ML wants space to focus on academics while FL wants reassurance that even though they’re apart he still likes her.
We’ve got another misunderstanding that may or may not take 10 chapters to get through. I had hope this wouldn’t happen again but it is. I really wish Japanese shojo authors would stop this narrative. We broke away from the rampant sa stories from the 2000’s to the doormat love era of the 2010’s now it’s 2020’s misunderstandings click bait.
Right when they’re putting the burn in slow burn romance ; Hyundo my king you got this~
