Honestly this is a good read. Overarching the concept of beauty being more then just skin deep, I like the awkwardness of the relationship between the main characters. Though the translations are clearly not exactly what you’d expect it’s fun to read. You learn a lot about beauty standards in Korea, in some ways it’s heart breaking in others it’s relatable.
I just regret not getting a few more scenes with the parents and how their dating life continued.

The development was strangely way too long but also way too fast pace at the same time…
Fourteen chapter in and it felt like their feelings were forced. Like “oh, I’m gay, oh? You’re gay too?” Then again when I read the epilogue it started to make sense why it felt that way.
However— at a certain point the story felt drawn out. We never get the answers to their backgrounds and we never get an answer about their future.
We just get this. The story. This amazingly detailed art. Just a small glimpse of what they use to cover it [the weird relationship pacing] all up.

From beginning to end it’s a beautiful story of love. Not only do I understand the main couple but I really relate to sensei. I won’t be vain enough to call myself attractive but our mannerisms are pretty much the same.
It’s thrilling to watch the story unfold though I wish there was more. Great job author San!

There are no happy endings. Each chapter is a different story. Of course sex happens, I mean literally every chapter with each new couple but that’s not what’s upsetting.
The amount of r-pe scenes is disgusting and the fact that there is a literal child involved in this makes it ten times worse.
The saddest fact is not chapter 7’s ending, but the fact that the little brother from chapter 1 never learns the truth about his sister really being a hoe.
The story is nice but the author could’ve put in more work both with the female leads storyline and the entire plot of the last arc.
If we had seen Selvess at least once, when Eddy was a kid at the academy, or if he was even one of the bullies it would’ve been a nice surprise instead of ‘what? who cares about this random person?,’
Unrelated but the translations of the female leads name changed three times so I just dubbed her Flamingo in my head.
She wasn’t the most beautiful heroines yes but she could’ve done more. When eddy went missing what the hell did she prepare? How did she prepare? We see her read so much about magic but never used that knowledge.
We get chapters dedicate to the hero’s journey, but don’t get to even see the battle. We don’t even get a clue about anything until it’s time for it to disappear. Tragic.
