Im a bit stupid so can sm1 explain how jitae shares a mom with jian but jitae’s mom got killed by jian’s mom??? (Like the black haired woman in mc’s flashback getting stabbed?) also the fact that jitae is the legitimate son but his mom is (presumably) divorced with his dad. Straight confused
they have different moms. They are half-brothers because of their dad. Suryeon is Jian’s(older bro) mom and she had him as a mistress. So the two boy’s dad slept with her when he was still married to Jitae’s(ml) mom. Jitae is considered the legitimate son because his mom was still married when she had him. Also, it seems the grandfather plays favorites because it’s a bloodline thing. Jitae’s mom supposedly came from a wealthy family too so in his eyes Jitae is superior.
