EVERYONE SHUT UP! IM IN TEARS THIS WAS SO GOOD. I CANT TAKE IT. But seriously, the way that kanami’s character growth is shown so evidently as well as the lessons she learned from the hardships of others is truly wonderful. I also loved that it realistically portrayed how there are good people in this world despite the overwhelming bad ones and how they affect those around them. I love that the characters never truly forgave the brother but helped him become a better person and I love makoto’s group. This was such a great story to read.
I’m going insane from how cute this is. At first I thought the pacing was really fast bc I didn’t know where everything was going, but the end leaves you satisfied. There wasn’t heaping loads of drama that hurt one character and both of them were able to have mature communication between another. It was so nice(▰˘◡˘▰)
I’m not even going to lie, I am kinda pissed off at the lack of adult guidance for MC. Like I understand the expectations but the fact that his parents aren’t noticing his anguish is super annoying. Of course coupled with the fact that there is so much lack of communication with the MC and all of the characters besides the demon king, it’s understandable why the MC reacted the way that he did so he can get some for of attention from his parents and prove that he is worth more than the hero’s son, to both himself and the public.
But did we see his ass, my god that is a dump truck if I’ve ever seen one
